I. Learning Activities

1. My Art Home Encounter

As part of art assessment of initial skill in visual art, identify any form of artwork
at home and perform the following (20 points):

1. Take a photo of an art found in your house or in the nearby place(s). Put it in a
short white bond paper.

2. It is maybe a sculpture, an old photo, a painting, an art collection, a cloth


design, a jewelry, a vase, furniture, or anything you considered as a form of
art. Write some information about the artwork

3. Describe how was the artwork acquired? Is it a part of collection, home


display, gift or self-made, heirloom etc. What is the value or significance of
the artwork to you and your family?

2. My Art Skills

Duplicate the artwork by using a pencil or any drawing materials that are
available at home. Place in the box below (20 points).

3. My Oldest Picture: What I Want to Become?


Look a copy of your oldest picture. Take a shot of it, paste in the box below and
design. Talk to your old picture as it is alive. Start your conversation with a question,
“What would you want to become in the future? Expound your conversation with your
picture by asking and answering more related questions (20 points).

4. My COVID 19 Pandemic Experiences

Using your skills in lead pencil or charcoal sketch, express your artistry by means
of a simple drawing of what is in your mind or personal experiences about COVID 19
pandemic in the box. Discuss your drawing through a 3-paragraph essay to be written
below the box (20 points).

II. Assignment

Answer the following questions (20 points):

1. What are the kinds, subjects, and contents of art?


2. How to keep arts for lasting use and preservation?
3. What are the relationships between art appreciation and education?
