METHODOLOGY
In this chapter, the research design, study participants, methods for collecting
data, procedures for data collection, and statistical techniques are discussed. The aim is to
ensure a reliable and precise interpretation of the findings. For this specific study, a range
other resources.
Research Design
among the data and quantifying variables. The main goal of quantitative research is to
offer credible and accurate information regarding the population under study.
The study was conducted at the University of La Salette, Santiago City, a private
Catholic, coeducational primary and higher education institution run by the Missionaries
The target respondents of this study involved the third-year college students from
The sampling method utilized in this study was random sampling. The
participants were third year college nursing students. One of the criteria are those

Part 1 is about the demographic profile of the respondents such as Age, Gender,
Before conducting this study, the researcher asked permission from the Dean of
College of Nursing and obtain informed consent from potential respondents, in which
they are informed about their role and given written information about the study, they are
also informed that their participation is entirely voluntary, that they may withdraw at any
moment without repercussions, and that confidentiality and anonymity are guaranteed.
During data collection, the researcher ensures that the respondents’ safe spaces in
data privacy are protected. The data will be collected thru survey questionnaires that will
be given to them personally and the researcher will wait for the respondents’ responses
for an hour before analyzing the data gathered without putting them under pressure or
analyzed, and interpreted. After data collection, the researches shared the study results
Data Analysis
The questions under the study will be treated by using descriptive and inferential
statistics. The data will be collected and arranged through Microsoft Excel. The statistical
package SPSS will be used to analyze the data. Independent t-tests will be applied to
and age. Frequency distribution will be used for descriptive statistics. The data will be
read by the researcher's mentor to ensure accuracy. To avoid influencing the data, the
Ethical Considerations
A thorough evaluation of the literature and a well-stated justification for how the
proposed study will advance awareness of the problem and broaden the body of
knowledge are essential when formulating a study idea. The ability to describe the
available data, how they are insufficient, and how the research project purports to fill a
gap in the literature is crucial for researchers, especially when the subject matter is
contentious. This type of justification is necessary to ease the worries of ethics boards
that might doubt the societal value of the research question under investigation, even
