Welcome to Interview Preparation for Job Interviews. In this project, we will review types of job
interviews; the most common interview questions; best practices before and after the job
interview, and what strategic questions you should ask the hiring manager after the interview.
Preparing for your job interview is the golden key to securing the right job fit for you and for the
hiring manager.

This is a project-based course which should take approximately 40


minutes to finish. Before diving into the project, please take a look at
the course objectives and structure:

In this course, we are going to focus on three learning objectives:

1. 5 Different Types of Job Interviews


2. Most Common Interview Questions
3. Best Practices Before the Job Interview
By the end of this course, you will be able to prepare for Job Interviews

Course Structure
This course is divided into 3 parts:

1. Course Overview: Interview Preparation


2. Project Name: Interview Preparation for Job Interviews
3. Graded Quiz: This is the final assignment that you need to pass in order to finish the course
successfully.

Meet the Instructor

My name is Dianna Eckford and I am a Senior Career Consultant with


a background training and coaching Silicon Valley professionals who
have recently been impacted from their previous employer. I have a
strong background in creating and designing learning and
development departments from scratch. I have worked in Life
Sciences, Accounting as well as technology and service-based
organizations. I have a Master of Education from the University of
Arizona and have held various professional development volunteer
positions in my field.

About Rhyme
This course runs on Coursera's hands-on platform called Rhyme. On Rhyme, you do projects in
a hands-on manner in your browser. You will get instant access to pre-configured cloud desktops
that have all the software and data you will need. So, you can just focus on the learning. For this
project, this means instant access to a cloud desktop with Python, Jupyter, and TensorFlow pre-
installed.

If you need help troubleshooting Rhyme, please refer to the Coursera Help Center for more
information.

Earn a Certificate
After you have completed the Interview Preparation for Job Interviews hands-on project, you will
be able to assess your knowledge using an ungraded assignment. Once you are comfortable
with the concepts, take the final quiz, score higher than 80% to earn your certificate.
