Banknotes Autentification Project-Report

This project analyzed a banknote authentication data set containing 1372 observations and 2 variables to determine if it could be separated into distinct clusters using K-means clustering. The data was first plotted on a graph and its mean, variance, and standard deviation were calculated. K-means clustering identified two clear clusters, one centered around 0 and one below 0, indicating the authentication process is effective with a majority of notes in the positive cluster.

Banknotes autentification project

1. The purpose
This project was made as part of the exercises for the course, and also to see if
this database is made for using Kmeans Clustering. The purpose is to see if the
database is big enough and in how many parts can be separated.
2. Description
The data set contained 1372 observations, with two variables that showed tha
banknotes autentification. I will insert 2 pictures that shows the dataset:
3. Methods:
Firstly I scatter the dataset in a graph so I can see if it is possible to use the
KMeans function for this data set. Before that I check the mean, the variance and
the standard deviation.
I will put the Graph here :
And after the graph I used the Kmeans Cluster to analyse the dataset.

4. Results:
After the result I found 2 cluester , 1 about 0 and 1 under 0 as presented in the
next graph:

5. Recomandations:
After the results we cand se that the majority of the autentification is in the
positive part, that means the process does a great job. I can just recommend to
find a way to move the second cluster in the first cluster zone.
