Assignments

In this course (PENG-201) 25% of your final grade will be comprised of 12 (twelve) graded assignments.
Each assignment will be equally weighted (2.08% each). These assignments will be found online in
Brightspace on the “assignments” page. You are responsible to complete these assignments on your
own time prior to the due date – There will be no class time scheduled for you to complete these
assignments during regularly scheduled class time. Any un-attempted/unsubmitted assignments be
graded as an “F” (0%) if it is not attempted/submitted before the due date. You will only have one
attempt at each assignment; the most recent submission after the assignment has closed will be graded.
Once each assignment closes no further attempts/submission will be accepted. Due dates for each
assignment will be found in your schedule as well as online in Brightspace – you will receive automatic
reminders through Brightspace regarding due date to these assignments. It is your responsibility to
ensure you are aware of these dates; no extensions or re-tries will be given unless approved by the
academic chair.

In summary:

• You have 12 assignments to complete


• Altogether they are worth 25% of your final grade (2.08% each)
• All 12 assignments are available online through Brightspace for you to complete on your own
time
• Any assignment not submitted before the assignment closes will be given a grade of “F” (0%)
• The due dates for these assignments will be found on your course schedule and programmed
into Brightspace
• At the respective due dates (at midnight) the assignment will lock closed and no further
submission can be made
o You will only have one attempt at each assignment
o The most recent submission for each assignment upon the assignment closing will be
graded
• Plagiarism software is used in Brightspace – DO NOT PLAGIARISE
