Diary Workforce Successes and Struggles

This theme will highlight diary professionals sharing successes and struggles with
their day-to-day practices, communication, their products, latest development and
technologies in the dairy farm industries as well as encourage farmers to showcase
sustainability practices in place on your farm or at your company.

BACKGROUND

In 2001, World Milk Day was established by the Food and Agriculture Organization
of the United Nations to recognize the importance of milk as a global food, and to
celebrate the dairy sector. Each year since, the benefits of milk and dairy products
have been actively promoted around the world, including how dairy supports the
livelihoods of one billion people.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Abuja Chamber of Commerce & Industry Dairy Day 2022 is a roundtable meeting
that serves as a forum for diary producers, companies, organizations and other diary
enthusiasts to come together to share ideas, knowledge, technology and commerce. As
we all know dairy farming moves fast. The best way to stay as productive and
profitable as possible is to stay on top of new technologies, new products and new
ways of thinking.

As a dairy farmer, you work incredibly hard to run a successful and profitable
business. Yet in an industry that is often effortful, there’s sometimes barely time to
pause for breath; to look up and see what’s happening in the rest of the sector.

At this roundtable meeting, you will be exposed to new products, new technologies
and new ways of thinking. All of which helps to make sure your skills and expertise
are concordant with what’s happening in the industry

It is also an opportunity to take a breather from the rigors of the farm and rub
shoulders with people who help to make the dairy farming community one of the
strongest in the industry. and also, to explore the latest developments in farm
hardware and technology.

OBJECTIVES OF THE EVENT

• To provide a platform for diary owners to share ideas


• To provide suggestions for future plan implementation and receive feedbacks
on the progress of the dairy farm industry
• To give every participant equal standing in a discussion, enabling them to
contribute their perspective and ideas freely and fully to the conversation.
