C++/C# Developer

Overview
The developer will be responsible for development of C++ and C# application and manage and maintain the
existing CHR products in the telecom Billing and Usage product line. The candidate will be having primary
experience in C++ along with exposure or willingness to learn and work in C# development technologies with
Windows based application development.

Essential Functions
1. Develop the C++ along with exposure or willingness to learn and work in C# code using designated product
technology architecture and frame works.

2. Work with US and India teams from India Location.

3. Interact with project managers / Software Architect, and other software engineers to ensure technical integrity
and successful delivery of projects.
4. Support the entire project lifecycle

5. Develop and maintain technical competencies as defined by departmental management.


6. Participate with the Product Management Team in the training, product briefs, and deployment of new
installations both internally and externally.
7. Provide status updates and timelines/road map to reporting manager.
8. Provide prototypes, when applicable, for review and approvals to software architect and development
manager.
9. Define User Personas and write use cases for new features, functionality, products and/or services.
10. Creation of Level of Effort (LOE) estimates for work to be accomplished.
11. Enter time daily for tracking of Key Performance Indicator (KPI) measurements.
12. Provide status updates to key stakeholders on a regular basis.
13. Ability to travel up to 25% by car and/or plane, may include weekend travel. Ability to travel internationally
is required. Current valid driver’s license required.
14. Provide services in a professional manner, adhering to all CHR Solutions standards as identified in the
Employee Handbook, the performance evaluation system, and other company and departmental programs and
policies.
15. Identify, meet and/or exceed client expectations within defined parameters related to delivery of services,
quality, revenue, and sales goals.
16. It is expected that the incumbent shall perform other duties as assigned within his/her capabilities as
determined by management, and based on the needs of the business.

Education and Experience Requirements


Education
 Associate or Bachelor degree in related field preferred.

Experience

 3 to 4 years’ experience in C++ along with exposure or willingness to learn and work in C#.
 Technical Skills :
o C++, debugging skills using Visual Studio IDE.
o Exposure or willingness to learn and work in C#.
o Know-how about memory management and optimization concepts.
o Working experience with SQL Server databases and writing SQL queries is highly desirable.
o Working experience in various windows operating system environments.

 Languages: C++, C#, SQL Server and SQL Scripting skills.


 Working experience with Team Foundation Server (TFS) code repository.
 Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - will be working on a geographically diverse team.
 Understanding of software development lifecycle and exposure to AGILE and SCRUM methodologies.
 Strong analytical and problem solving skills

 Domain knowledge in Telecom software sector (BSS) is an added advantage.
