- Identify and use some vocabulary itmes related to education.

research-graduate-scholarship-certificate)
-use the learnt vocabulary to write a paragraph about school life.

Stage / Time Activity Procedure


Warm-up greeting -T greets Ss:” Good morning”
5 min -T. asks: “How are you doing?”
Presentation Brainstorming -T draws a spider diagram on the board and he writes the word “Education” in
15 min the middle.

-T elicits from Ss the target vocabulary items related to schooling and fill in the
spider diagram
Practice Gap filling -T asks Ss to do Ex A :
20 min Complete the sentences using the right words from the diagram:
1-Imane is very happy because She……..her English exam, but Amine is sad
because he……..the exam.
2-The teacher is explaining and the students……….
3-We will……..the exam on Friday.
4-At primary school, children……..to read and write.
5-After school, we have to……….
6-I………English in my high school.
7-Our English teacher……..us English.
Matching -T asks Ss to do Ex B :
Match the words with their definitions:

Production writing -T asks Ss to write a paragraph talking about their school life using the learnt
15 min vocabulary items.
End of the session - T asks Ss to copy down the lesson to their copybooks
