Failure code TLS
Description
in display Code
IGBT unit informs that it has a failure, thus reducing the voltage at pins
E670 2 or 5 of the CN9 connector, or pin 2 of the CN11connector to less than
E0 - Failure in phase EU
12V, in these signals (this fall is fast and cannot be measured by
E1 - Failure in phase EV E669 multimeter). Probable short circuit in motor cables, 15VD voltage below
E2 - Failure in phase EW E668 13.5V. The MCINV detects these errors through signals E0 (US), E1 (EV)
and E3 (EW);
Lack of some power grid input phase or burnt ultrafast fuse. The MCINV
E3 - Failure of phase
E714 checks the voltage of the grid at points RE, SE and TE; located on the
IN (phases R, S and T) pins 2, 4 and 6 of connector CN2;
DC link voltage has not reached 80% of the nominal voltage. The
braking resistors may be connected between IN+ and IN-. Open
ultrafast fuse or open preload resistors. The MCINV checks the voltage
E4 - Failure of cargo E672 of the DC link at points IN+ and IN-; Another condition for the E4 is
when the link voltage does not reach 103.8 seconds 500ms after the
board is turned on.
DC link voltage lowered to the acceptable limit of operation of the IGBT
unit. Check item 8.7 of this manual. The MCINV checks the voltage of
E5 - Failure of subvoltage E643 the DC link at points IN+ and IN-; located on pins 1 and 4 of connector
CN1.
DC link voltage exceeded the acceptable limit of operation of the IGBT
E6 - Failure of unit. Check item 8.7 of this manual. The MCINV checks the voltage of
E629 the DC link at points IN+ and IN-; located on pins 1 and 4 of connector
overvoltage
CN1.
E7 - Failure of braking Probable short circuit in braking IGBT or braking resistors. The MCINV
E641 detects this error through signal EF;
IGBT
MCINV does not detect encoder pulses when the motor should be
E8 - Failure of Encoder E690 moving, that is, RPM real = 0;
If the measured speed of 1ms is greater than 10% of the synchronous
E8 – ERROR
E689 rpm for Asynchronous gearless AC motors or nominal rpm for the other
ENCODER A/B motor configurations, the error is generated;
E673, Failure of START, RED or P28. MCP removed some of these signals
EA - Failure of signals E827, during movement of the elevator; INT6S connector to MCINV6S module
E646 and CN12 connector from MCINV5SL module.
EC - Failure in shaft Failure in QC safety line. MCINV checks for voltage 24V in T24 + point. If
E819 T24 + = 0V, this error is displayed;
safety
Safety failure of thermostat of unit IGBT or the thermal relay (if any) of
EE - Failure in QC safety E820 the braking resistors. MCINV checks for voltage 24V at point 101. If 101
= 0V, this error is displayed;
MCINV checks the RPM difference between the standard curve and the
EF - Failure of under, E691, real curve. If the difference is greater than 20% then this error is
overspeed, overspeed E828, generated. Probable noise in the cable or encoder signals. May be the
nbk E694 sequence of inverted motor phases or brake does not open fully. Check
the adjustment of PID gains and times of the SPEED menu.

dF - Failure of BDLR Regenerative system;
If the signal from bkf does not confirm after 4 minutes and 30 seconds
after receiving the signal RED from MCP when elevator in automatic or
F0 – Failure timeout after the fall of the signal START when elevator in MANUT, an error is
E690 generated in order to shut down contactor CH-INV and take the power

from MACB activating the brake of the machine in case of failure of
contactor B4 or relay 0S.
h7 – Failure in
E612 Device that keeps the module configuration information with failure.
EEPROM
Timeout in converting channels A/D of processor. Two possibilities for
this error being generated: internal A/D of processor with failure or
hc – Failure A/D
E697 encoder generating amount of pulses much higher than the processor
Internal can manage increasing the conversion timeout of the A/D channels.
Always check first the encoder connection in the occurrence of this error.
hd – Failure A/D

External
hA – Failure untested
E677 The module has not been tested by the supplier.
module

E806 linear limit, magnetic limit or no limit, the job number and the elevator
configuration
speed on the MCP and MCINV.
Number of pulses in the re-leveling passed the limit that is set to be
