BRIEF INTRODUCTION OF THE TOPIC

 So far, we have been examining the limits of algebraic functions. In this section, we focus
our attention to some transcendental functions.

 In mathematics, a transcendental function is an analytic function that does not satisfy a

polynomial equation, in contrast to an algebraic function.

 In mathematics, a transcendental function is an analytic function that does not satisfy a

polynomial equation, in contrast to an algebraic function.

 Some of the most common transcendental functions are trigonometric, inverse

trigonometric, hyperbolic, exponential, and logarithmic functions.
