CLASS DISCUSSION

Simple Domain
● Limitations to Signal Domain
○ It can lead to complacency
○ Example: Programs must address demographics to meet the needs of investors.
■ Simplifying complex problems can lead to overlooked mistakes.
● Test practices can be used to update existing best practices.

Chaotic Domain
● Mississippi had a system in place to prevent tornadoes, but miscommunication caused
the incident.
○ Domain existed in this realm.
● In Terms of Acting
○ Acting in a chaotic situation requires Frenching the version on the important end.
■ Identify and secure areas to ensure safety.
● Chaos domains include active shooter, pandemic, and crises.
● Change of Leadership
○ The president has turned back the faculty and appointed a new team.
● Natural Disasters
○ Some of the characteristics identified as high turbulence.
● Making Decisions
○ Some people may be tired, but at a deadline with competing deadlines, you'd
have to prioritize what you have to do.
■ Clear and direct communication is essential for successful
communication.
○ Short Calls
■ Learning from a specific situation can be used to innovate and prepare for
future situations.

Complex Domain
● It's a situation in which many uncertain factors intervene.
● Examples: It could be in time to assume
■ It is difficult to predict the future.
○ COVID-19 has a protocol, but there are other issues to address.
■ To have Complex Situation:
1. Probe what has to prove to work in similar situations.
2. Use your sense of evaluation, value design, and respond to that
result on this side that needs to be probed.
● Unknown Factors
○ The complex domain is composed of blocks and unknowns.
■ Create innovative approaches and adjust the unknown.
● Particular Domain Complex
○ Probe, sense, and respond
○ Increased interaction and communication help generate ideas.
● Complex Domain Limitations
○ A temptation to fall back into a habitual
■ You can't use one side-to-side approach to adjust a part.
■ Designed to accomplish short-term bond.

Complicate Domain
● It's a situation where most of the right is involved in your one another.
○ Know what you need, but don't know how to achieve it.
● Best Thing To Do:
○ Get a new result
○ Leaders should take risks and analyze results to determine the best result.
● Example: People should be able to say they may not be the right person.
○ Be careful with people’s identity because you can’t determine their decision.
● Characteristics Complicate Domain
○ Expertise is essential for cost-related effects, not immediately visible.
● Job of the Data
○ Data is used to sense and analyze responses.
● Limitation of Complicate Domain
○ Experts can compare solutions by looking at the lines they follow.
○ Some experts assume they know everything and fail to recognize that some
things need to be invented.
