6. A unity feedback control system is characterized by its open loop transfer

function G(s) H(s) =K/s(s+10). Determine the gain 𝐾 so that the system will have
a damping ratio of 0.5. For this value of 𝐾, find the rise time, peak time and peak
overshoot

7. Measurements conducted on a servo system show the system response to be

c(𝑡) =1+0.2𝑒−60𝑡−1.2𝑒−10𝑡 when subjected to a step of 1 volts. Obtain an expression
for closed loop transfer function. Determine the un-damped natural frequency
and damping ratio of the system. Also obtain the unit ramp response of the
system.

8. The OLTF of unity feedback system is given by 𝑮 (𝒔) =𝑲/(𝟏+𝒔𝑻) , where 𝐾 and 𝑇
are positive constants. By what factor should the gain 𝐾 be reduced so that the
peak overshoot of the unit step response of the system is reduced from 75% to
25%.
9. The unit step response of a second order system is shown in the Figure. Find
the transfer function of prototype system used to model a second order system.
