Before we all had cars to drive, people used

horses to get around, and almost everyone was

√ taught to care for and ride a horse. Today, horse riding

has become recreational. There are many obvious

health benefits to horse riding, and horses are even used

in therapy for mentally disabled children. Before taking

it up as a hobby, though, there are certain pros and

cons to be considered. There are a number of advantages

to taking up horse riding. To begin with, it is an

enjoyable activity which one can do by themselves/himself/herself/oneself

or with others, so it is good fun. It is also but a good

form of exercise which can help you keep fit. On the

other hand, there are some disadvantages to horse

riding. To start with, it is rather expensive because

lessons and equipment cost a lot. In addition, it can be

rather dangerous as a rider can suffer serious injuries

√ if they fall off the horse. On the whole, although horse

riding is expensive and quite dangerous, but I believe it

is great fun and good exercise. It might to be dangerous

but, if you can afford it, the experience is unique.
