V psychosocial

Mrs. Siton had a family-centered lifestyle. non-smoker who does not


consume alcohol. prefer meat and fish than vegetables. That's why she
had cholesterol management. She is married and has a supportive
family. She prioritizes family relationships and responsibilities, often
involving stay-at-home parenting or shared family activities. prefers to
sleep in her leisure time or bond with her family. with no elimination
problems and copes with stress through open conversation with her
family. she prays when there is burden or problem. She practices proper
hand washing in their houuse .

1.HEALTH PERCEPTION-

The patient regularly follows the doctor's order to take her medication with the help of her
family. They are very supportive in taking care of her needs.She is very aware of her current
health situation and that she can recover from her present surgery as long as she complies with
every order, medication, and instruction given by the doctor and nurse. She is also aware of the
things that should be avoided.

2. NUTRITIONAL-METABOLIC PATTERN

The patient loves eating meat and fish; she said in the interview that she usually eats meat rather
than fish. She eats vegetables but prefers meat most of the time. Now that she is admitted and has
had a recent surgery, she eats minimally because she has less appetite than usual. The patient is
currently prescribed an increase in fluid intake.

3. ELIMINATION PATTERN

Prior to hospital admission, the patient takes her bowel every day and urinates at a minimum of
three times a day. But since the time she was admitted, her bowel and urination routine has
changed.Currently, the patient is under I/O monitoring and JP drainage, and since the doctor
suggested an increase in fluid intake, the patient is experiencing 8 times more urination with no
stool and at the exact date of September 18, 2023.

4. ACTIVITY-EXERCISE PATTERN

According to the patient, she is a housewife and an active mother to her children. Before
admission, she said she could independently do her activities of daily living and do light exercise
like walking.But now that she is hospitalized and has recently had surgery for her condition, she
needs assistance in anything she does.
SLEEP-REST PATTERN
Before the patient was hospitalized, she said she slept frequently to relax. But now that she is
hospitalized, she usually wakes up between midnight and 4:00 am in the morning for vital sign
taking and i/o monitoring, which disturbs her sleep pattern.

6 COGNITIVE PERCEPTUAL PATTERN


The patient is very cooperative in the interview; she is responsive and coherent; she properly
answers and hears questions correctly with a little confusion; she understands her present
condition because she said that she was guided to understand what her present health status is by
the doctor, nurse, and her family.

7. SELF-PERCEPTION PATTERN
The patient currently perceives herself as someone in the process of healing and recovery
following a recent surgery. The surgery was a significant event in her life, prompting heightened
awareness of her body and its vulnerabilities. She acknowledges that she may be experiencing
physical weakness and emotional vulnerability at this time, but she is resolute in her
determination to return to her usual self.

8. Relation Pattern
The patient describes herself as a mother who prioritizes family relationships and
responsibilities, often involving stay-at-home parenting or shared family activities.
9. Role Sexuality Pattern
patient has no reproductive problems with minimal movement, so intimacy with her partner is
limited. patient is satisfied with her sexuality.
10 patterns of coping and stress tolerance
The patient is Catholic and said that she copes with the help of her family and also prays when
there is a burden or problem. She said that by praying and opening up her burden, she removed a
heavy load from her heart

11. Patterns of values and beliefs

patient said since she was a kid, she prioritized her family, which is why, up until now, she has
been a good mother to her children and family. That is why patient has a good bond with her
family.
