The two rafters Carl and Alif were thrown from the raft and ended up getting out
of the river further downstream at points A (Alif) and C(Carl). If the river is 147 m
wide and Carl see the raft at 73 while Alif sees it at 68 , which one of them is
closer to the raft, and how far it is? (7 marks)

a plane that is at an angle of elevation of 25 from where he is standing at point
N. The plane is at a height of 390 metres as can be seen in the Diagram 2.

answer to the nearest metre. (3 marks)
