SELF-INTRODUCTION

My name is Farzana Akter and I’m 22year’s old. My birthday is on 14th

August. My father is a businessman and my mother is a housewife.
My nationality is Bangladeshi and I come from Jashore. I completed my
HSC from Cantonment College Jashore. I do live in Mirpur -12, Dhaka
with my friends. Now I’m studying Computer Science and Engineering
at the World University of Bangladesh.
I aim to be a web developer in future. I’m excited to start my career
and can’t wait to see what my future holds. I’m confident that I have
what it takes to be a good developer and I’m looking forward to making
a difference in the world. I love painting on paper and Black is my
favorite color.

That’s all about me. Thank you.

SUMMARY
This article is about the biggest discoveries in computer science in 2022. This year
computer scientists learned how to transmit perfect secrets, why transformers
seem so good at everything and how to improve on decades-old algorithms with a
little help from AI( Artificial Intelligence). As computer scientists tackle a greater
range of problems, their work has grown increasingly interdisciplinary. Many of
the most significant computer science results also involved other scientists and
mathematicians. Computer science and quantum computing in particular, also
heavily overlap with physics.
In one of the biggest developments in theoretical computer science this year,
researchers posted proof of the NLTS conjecture, which(among other things)
states that a ghostly connection between particles known as quantum
entanglement is not as delicate as physicists once imagined. Entanglement is a
property that intimately connects even distant particles. Physicists thought it
would be impossible to describe fully, but computer scientists disagreed. In June a
team of computer scientists posted proof of it.

Neuroscientists have begun modelling human brain functions with transformer-

based networks. This suggests a fundamental similarity between artificial and
human intelligence.
Cryptography is based on the difficulty of various math problems. The harder a
problem is to solve, the harder a hacker must work to break it. GHN-2 is a new
“hyper network” kind that processes and spits out other networks. It provides a
set of parameters that are generally at least as effective as those in networks
trained the traditional way.
Researchers have discovered faster algorithms for multiplying matrices and two-
dimensional tables of numbers. There’s a standard way but it becomes
cumbersome as matrices grow larger, so researchers are always looking for a
faster algorithm. In March, researchers also published an algorithm to solve the
problem of maximum flow.

DIGITAL LITERACY
Zara: Hay, how have you been?

Isha: Not bad, thanks. What’s on your mind?

Zara: Have you heard about digital literacy? It’s becoming more and more important these
days.

Isha: Yeah, I’ve heard of it. It’s the ability to use digital technologies and tools effectively, right?

Zara: Exactly! With everything moving online, it’s important to know how to navigate
technology and use it to our advantage.

Isha: Definitely. It’s not just about knowing how to use a computer or a smartphone, but also
being able to understand how digital information is created, shared, and consumed.

Zara: Yes, and being able to evaluate the reliability of the information we find online is crucial.
There’s so much misinformation out there these days, and it can be hard to know what to
believe.

Isha: That’s true. And digital literacy isn’t just important for personal use, but it’s also becoming
increasingly necessary in the workplace. Many jobs require some level of digital proficiency
these days.

Zara: Absolutely. And it’s not just for younger generations either. People of all ages need to
develop their digital literacy skills to keep up with the constantly evolving technological
landscape.

Isha: Agreed. We need to ensure that everyone has access to the tools and resources they need
to develop their digital literacy skills so that we can all participate fully in the digital world.

Zara: It’s a crucial skill set for the future that we should all be working to develop.
Thanks for bringing this up.

Isha: You are welcome. Take care. Bye.
