Inalfa test tool
The tool is a simple unit to measure the cassette sizes and to test the cassette present
switch. The bit pattern that is received from the optocouplers is made visible. Check
with the help of a table if the data is correct.

inalfa Bucky tray • Several cassette formats (especially a mixture of INCH and
METRIC cassettes), which were used in the field, could not be
recognised from our new INALFA Bucky tray & Bucky
controller.
Remedy:
• With this upgrade of the firmware and new decoder wheels,
all cassette sizes (INCH and METRIC) will be recognised.
00 231 004 Connector EZX44 Symptoms:
• In praxis it was determined that the zener-diode on the
connector EZX44 was operating at a range of limit and could
be overloaded
Remedy:
• Replace the old connector EZX44 with the modified type

00 231 005 Intermittent stop Symptoms:
during TOMO • Intermittent stops during tomography. The logfiles show the
following:
<E> TOMO1 XXX: reached SW limit switch, or
<E> TOMO1 XXX: motor blocks

• The new firmware for motor controller Rel 1.4 makes sure
that the system does not stop again during the tomo sweep

'safety relays did not close' or 'table height is not in range'
Remedy:
• Addition of linings to the table: sinking is limited after
loading the table top
• Addition of a RC-element to the motor control board on the
SZ2 board. The lift motor will stop delayed if the tabletop
moves from the lower/upper to the centre position
• Safety switch UAG-S3 on Z-catch will not be used anymore
and can be shorted
00 231 009 Friction bolt & Symptoms:
spring • During operation the table sags because the old type of
friction bolts are not free of slipping and do not hold the
table lift motor in a stable position

00 231 010 Touch protection Symptoms:

• Fan had high failure rate,
• Displayed format was not real format,
• High failure rate of ruler tape.
Replacement of automatic collimators of type 612, serial
number <2000. Later the type 611 will be replaced.
Replacement by 614 (upgraded with new hardware, software and
mechanics) or by 615 (new product)
Improvements:
• Segment controller LA4 with watchdog function and new
25-pole service plug. Xscope cable can now be used,
• New improved fan,
• New colra release 2.1.1,

Remedy:
• For a continuous product improvement the new inalfa will
be available in two version:
• 9848 500 20405 left hand version,
• 9848 500 35805 right hand version.
00 231 015 Upgrade kit for Symptoms:
squeaking Table • Because of a malfunction of the applied gliding-foil the table
begins to jam or squeak
Remedy:
• A new guiding mechanism for the table covers.
00 231 017 Upgrade of ACL, Symptoms:

• With heavy cassettes it may happen that the gripper

out during positioning
00 231 020 Upgrade kit BuCo Symptoms:
firmware rel 6.1 • When an Amplimat exposure is released it may happen that

control panel the ‘underexposure’ symbol appears

• Replacement of the BuCo firmware rel 6.1 on bucky
controller SZ1. The new firmware rel 6.2 fixes this
malfunction
From this point on the numbering concept of the Bucky TH has been changed. All FCO concerning
Bucky TH/TH2 will start with 704000xx
704 000 01 Upgrade BuCo Symptoms:

the malfunctions, e.g.:
