Article 1:- The Art of Writing Literature Review: What Do We Know and What
Do We Need To Know?
Introduction
 Before starting the studies, prior studies are requested to synthesize the logical finding of the
problems.
 The literature reviews contained the research methodology and contributed significantly to
the conceptual and thematic development of different domains.
 The review papers use the existed or published paper as the prior study.
 Review articles are the simplest methods for understanding the research concepts and
identifying the key research gaps based on what constructs, theories, and methods are widely
applied in the different sets of studies that have been carried out.
 Systematic reviews have become an explicitly recognized form of review-based research in
many different disciplines.

Methodology and structure of review articles

Systematic literature review can be classified as domain-based, theory-based, and method-based

 Domain-based reviews based on available in almost all subject areas both business-related
and non-business related. Domain-based review articles can be classified into four different
categories.

What is a Review Article?
 A systematic review is the process of searching, selecting, appraising, synthesizing and
reporting clinical evidence on a particular question or topic. It uses a methodology is
clearly-designed and methods to identify and results of certain single apply is displayed.

Importance of Research Reviews


 Learning from the past researcher method to use on a topic of interest.
 Answering practical questions by understanding what existing research has to say on the
matter.
 To identifying the gaps of problems, to avoid duplications and to update within the latest
study.

Basic Rules to writing a Review Article


 Define the Purpose of the literature: to identify the purpose and intended goals of the
review.
 Recognise the Target Audience: The article is must be clearly identified for the audience.
 Search and re-search for the literature: When the searching different literature on the
different journals.
 A mini-review is a minor review: it may well attract more attention.
 A full review is will cover in detail the complexities of a particular scientific development.
 Be Critical and Consistent: not only summarize the data, but also discuss it critically.
 Writing the review: After having read a review of the literature, a reader should have a
rough idea of major achievements, debates and outstanding the research questions.
 Feedback: is the greatly helps for the reviewers as to writing a good review.
