Title of the proposed literacy program (5%)


1. Coin a catchy title, with a recall effect (you may use striking acronyms).
2. Include key literacy focus.
3. Have 15 words maximum.

service, positions held, publication/s, and awards.
3. Compose 1-2 paragraphs, 3-5 sentences for this introduction.

shares/ discloses participant data to meet reporting and privacy protection
legislative requirements. (5)

Assessment and Monitoring (15%) with in-text citation (3)


1. Identify monitoring/evaluation activities and assessment tools that will be used
to assess participant progress. (5)
2. Provide evidence of recent experience with assessment tools (e.g. provide
sample pre and post-test assessment forms). (5)
3. Describe outcomes that will be assessed to determine participant progress (e.g.
literacy leadership, literacy instruction skill levels). (5)
Budget Plan (10%)
Outline reasonable and realistic budget for proposed activities within
guidelines.

CONCLUDING STATEMENT
The course has provided you with research-based knowledge and instructional tools on
planning an effective reading program designed according to the context of your
students, your classroom, and your school. At this point, your social interaction,
readings, and learning tasks in this module should have allowed you to gain confidence
in relation to understanding, designing, planning, implementing, and sustaining
effective reading programs f or diverse learner needs and characteristics.
