BUROG ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
I. INTRODUCTION
With the pandemic’s widespread effect, the “New Normal” in instruction in Philippine education
embraces different learning modality and it has a big impact in learning mathematics. Even though it is
difficult it will not become an hindrance to be a numerate learner so called.
Math is everywhere and the best way to understand what mathematics is to do mathematics.

II. OBJECTIVES
1. To understand whole numbers, place values, four fundamental processes and solving word problems
involving whole numbers.
2. Learn the meaning of fractions, kinds of fractions and estimating sum and differences of mixed
numbers.
3. To estimate products and quotients of fractions.
4. To write, read, compare and order decimals.
5. To learn ratios, proportions, decimals and finding percentage.
6. To understand concepts in line angles, polygons, spatial figures, plane figures, meter reading and etc.
7. Apply mathematical concepts in everyday living.
III. ACCOMPLISHMENT
1. Pupils have been given more drills, solutions, problems and practices in mathematics.
2. Pupils in their own home were kept busy manipulating objects writing answers to drills and
exercises, mentally figure out solutions to problems.
3. Cooperative learning with their guardians and teachers is always encouraged to help pupils to figure
out solutions and interesting problems.
Pandemic is one of the problems we encounter and heterogeneous group of pupils have hard time
solving more complicated problems and comprehending more difficult topics.
