    BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY


    Madell Betis Microblading Professional

    Madell Betis Microblading Professional is owned by Geromadell Pesigan Betis was


    established in 2021. She started her journey as a SPMU Artist (semi-permanent
    makeup artist) in 2017 and provides a home service in different places in Metro
    Manila, Laguna, Batangas, Nasugbu, Calatagan and Cavite. After the pandemic hit
    way back in 2020, the owner decided to go back to her province which is here in
    Batangas. During the pandemic, she realized that doing a work from home job and
    providing microblading services was hard to deal with at the same time. So, Madell
    decided to quit her work in 2021 and in that same year, she built her own clinic in
    Balayan.

    Madell Betis Microblading Professional is now a well-known brand in Balayan. She


    provides different kinds of Microblading practices. From brow microblading, to lip
    blush, eyeliner, cheek blush, scalp microblading, as well as nipple areola
    micropigmentation. Her clinic also provides different kinds of salon services, like all
    kinds of nail services, foot spa, waxing, lash lift and lash extensions.

    Pia’s Express Laundry


    The cost of wool and clothes made of wool made washing necessary, so early
    civilizations washed their clothes in rivers. Before the invention of detergent,
    removing dirt and stains from clothing required a lot of muscle power. Laundry
    meant hard twisting and slapping the clothing against rocks on the river, stomping
    on the clothes, and using paddles and washboards to, quite literally, beat the dirt
    out of the fibers. Before the invention of modern detergent, civilizations of the past
    used animal fat or lye to wash clothes. Other times, they used chamber lye – a
    conspicuous nickname for urine (collected from the chamber pots of the citizenry –
    hence, ‘chamber’ lye) for washing clothing. Other cleaning agents were also used,
    like natron, which was a favored cleaning agent for both body and clothing in
    ancient Egypt. Because of the physical demands of the chore, laundering clothes
    was limited to a few times a year and was delegated to men. In fact, in Ancient
    Rome, the job of laundering was a duty performed by men called full ones who took
    care of the used clothing of practically their whole city. In terms of the history of
    laundry, this was the beginning of the communal nature of laundry.

    Pia's Express Laundry has been in the industry for 2 years the Main branch was
    located to Brgy. Butong, Taal, Batangas where the business was started. The
    tagline of the business was "At Pia's, your satisfaction is our utmost priority" and
    through the years we have been created another 2 branches located at Sanggalang
    St. Lemery Batangas and Bagong Tubig San Luis Batangas. We make sure that our
    service is quality and price is affordable. In Pia's Express Laundry we want our
    customers to experience hassle-free and convenient way of washing clothes.
