Course description:

Computers have played a very significant role in today’s digital economy and fast moving world.
The technological shift in the last two decades have made the use of computers and IT
imperative in today’s business world. The Internet and advancement in the IT sector have helped
a lot in the business world. In this course, we shall go through the basics of computers, it’s
history and evolution. Moreover, we will also study its practical applicability in business
perspective.

Overview of the lectures:

Please note that the topics are not equal in the number of lectures. Some topics may extend over
one session of the lectures. Outline here is provisional and may shift over time, though we will
try best not to do so.

Requirement:

Students are required to read the relevant material on daily basis as the quizzes would mostly be
unannounced. The students are advised not to miss any class.
