INTERNSHIPS
1. Winter Research Internship at Indian Institute of Technology, Madras
Title- “Particle Migration of Drilling fluid through Porous Media” (Dec 2021- Jan 2022)
Guided By- Dr. Ramesh Kannan, Geotechnical Engineering, Dept. of Civil Engineering, IIT Madras
This was a research-based internship for a duration of one month. Based on the understanding of the particle
migration phenomenon through porous media using Water-based drilling fluids of various concentrations.
2. Summer Training at Institute of Reservoir Studies (IRS), ONGC, Ahmedabad
Title- “Reservoir Performance Analysis and Field Development Planning”
Guided By- Mr. Naveen Aggarwal, Manager (Reservoir), IRS, ONGC (May 2022- June 2022)
This summer training was mainly focused on analysing various aspects of the reservoir performance and
improving the future behaviour and recovery of the reservoir by the analysis of various tools.
PROJECTS
1. Application of Ferromagnetic nanoparticles in Water-Based Drilling fluid
Guided By- Dr. Shivanjali Sharma, Assistant Professor, Department of Petroleum Engineering and
Geoengineering, RGIPT (Oct 2021- Dec 2021)
The project is based on the selection, preparation and application of nanoparticle for enhancing different
properties of water-based drilling fluid including the rheological and filtration properties.
2. Investigation of Adsorption of Anionic Surfactants in EOR applications in presence of Graphene
Nanoparticle
Guided by- Dr. Shivanjali Sharma, Assistant Professor, Department of Petroleum Engineering and
Geoengineering, RGIPT (March 2022- Present)
The objective of the project is to study the adsorption phenomenon of the surfactants on the rock surfaces in
the reservoirs during chemical flooding EOR process and to economize the whole process by reducing the
loss of the surfactants used during chemical flooding due to adsorption on the rock surfaces.
