Rielly Baseball Instruction (RBI)
Coxheath, Nova Scotia (September 2023 -
• Acting as an instructor/coach with Rielly Baseball Instruction,
coaching youth (aged 6-16) providing baseball knowledge and
techniques. Ranges from individual instruction to large group (3-10
participants) instruction. The goal of this program is to teach and
develop skills of young players while working in a brave and fun
environment.
Summer Sport and Recreation Coordinator

• Responsible for participating in the planning, implementation, and
evaluation of CBRM recreation programming, including multisport,
outdoor recreation, and other active living programs. Planned,

participants, including children (aged 5 to 16), teens, individuals with
disabilities, and seniors. This included the Adapt Program, which
provided recreation activities to children with different needs and
abilities three afternoons per week during the summer.
Communications Lab Peer Facilitator
Cape Breton University – Sydney, Nova Scotia (September – December
2022)
• Responsible for leading Communications labs for students enrolled in
Cape Breton University’s first year Communications courses, engaging
students in gaining public and interpersonal communication
competencies. This includes preparing lesson plans, facilitating
discussion during labs, reviewing students’ participation and
submissions, and providing feedback.
Sobeys Prince Street – Sydney, Nova Scotia (July 2018 – July 2020)
• Worked alone and as part of a team in the store meat room. I
dismantled and cleaned machines, washed floors, dishes, and tables as
well as restocked shelves and display cases. It was my job to ensure the
meat room was cleaned to the Manager’s and Meat Cutter’s satisfaction
as the area had to be completely clean for the next day's operation. I
interacted daily with customers to ensure they had a positive
experience at our store.
Winter Baseball Camp
Sydney, Nova Scotia (January – March 2017, January – February 2018)
• Worked alongside other coaches providing baseball knowledge and
techniques to groups of children under the age of 12 years. The group
sizes exceeded 45 children per session. Our goal was to teach these
young players the basics of the game while working in a safe and fun
environment.

• Newspaper delivery person – assembling and delivering newspapers to
customers on a delivery route. Daily responsibilities included sorting
newspapers, walking along the route to deliver the papers to each
