Dear Mr. Gerwel T. Cagaoan,

Phil Ace Vantage Int’l Trading Corporation is pleased to confirm your appointment as
LOGISTICS OFFICER under a probationary status within a period of six (6) months
depending on your performance.

depending on the nature and function of the job and of the department).

You are entitled to the following compensation:

a. Basic 18,200
(700.00 pesos per day x 26 days)
Employer SSS Share - 1,440.00
Employer PH Share - 364.00
Employer HDMF - 100.00

7. Performance Evaluation: Your employment is subject to Performance Evaluation on or before


the end of your probationary period.

7.1 In undertaking your duties, responsibilities and powers, you shall:

(a) exercise due care, skill and diligence and ensure that all laws, regulations, orders, etc., in all
matters including the operations of GUI are observed and complied with at all times.

(b) observe and comply with all resolutions, regulations and/or directions from time to time made
or given by the Company; and
7.2 Your probationary period shall be six (6) months subject to meeting specified milestones.
You will be required to produce a satisfactory medical report for the confirmation of your
employment with us. Your continued employment will depend on your performance which shall
be regularly evaluated based on the following standards/criteria:

a) Regularity of attendance and punctuality


b) Competence in work/job assigned to you;
c) Industriousness;
d) Diligence;
e) Efficiency;
f) Faithful compliance with policies, rules, regulations, instructions and guidelines;
g) Working attitude and relations with your Superior(s) as well as your co-workers; and
h) Loyalty to the Company. (The Company may include other standards as it may deem
necessary, which standards shall be duly communicated to you.)

7.3 Your appointment to permanent/regular status shall be determined by the Company


before the lapse of the probationary period and after a careful and thorough evaluation of your
over-all performance during the probationary period based on the standards/criteria stated in
Section 7.2 and your JD (as attached).

7.4 The Company may terminate your probationary employment at any time during the
probationary period for just or authorized causes for termination of employment provided for
under Philippine Law. Should the Company choose to terminate your probationary employment,
you will be entitled to collect your salary computed only up to the last day of your actual service.

7.5 You may terminate your employment with the Company by giving notice at least thirty
(30) calendar days prior to your intended effective date of resignation. A violation of the 30-day
notice would give the Company the right to retain your last salary and accrued benefits from your
last month of service, as penalty.

8. Non-Competition. The EMPLOYEE hereby agrees not to directly or indirectly compete


with the business of the COMPANY and its successors and assigns during the period of
employment and for a period of one (2) years following termination of employment and
notwithstanding the cause or reason for termination.

The term "non-compete" as used herein shall mean that the EMPLOYEE shall not own,
manage, operate, consult or be employed in a company which is in competition with the
present business of the COMPANY or such other business activity in which the
COMPANY may substantially engage during the term of employment.

9. Confidentiality of Proprietary Information. The EMPLOYEE agrees, during or after the term
of his/her employment, not to reveal confidential information, or trade secrets to any person, firm,
corporation, or entity. Should EMPLOYEE reveals or threaten to reveal this information, the
COMPANY shall be entitled to an injunction restraining the EMPLOYEE from disclosing the
same, or from rendering any services to any entity to whom said information has been or is
threatened to be disclosed, the right to secure an injunction is not exclusive, and the COMPANY
may pursue any other remedies it has against the EMPLOYEE for a breach or threatened breach
of this condition, including the recovery of damages from the EMPLOYEE.

10. Job Description (Roles/Responsibilities). The job description (attached) provided to you will be
the basis of your performance evaluation. By signing this agreement, you understand and agree
on the job requirements and responsibilities of the position.
