11. FINANCIAL CAPACITY
The information you provide below will be used to assess whether you have sufficient funds to cover the cost of
tuition and living expenses for yourself and your family members for the duration of your study in Australia.
The table below indicates the minimum amount in Australian dollars (AUD) that you will need for each year of your stay in Australia. The costs below
do not necessarily represent the cost of studying and living in Australia. The actual amount required for your stay in Australia will be included on your
Letter of Offer and are subject to change.

You must provide evidence in the form of a certified statement from the funding source indicating the amount of funds available to you to cover the
cost of your tuition and living expenses. If you are entirely self-funded you must still provide certified evidence.
While on a student visa you will be allowed to work up to 40 hours per fortnight (unlimited work rights during
semester breaks). These funds must only be used to supplement your living costs and cannot be the only source of
income to pay your tuition and living costs.

It is a condition of a student visa that you maintain Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC). If you receive a Letter of
Offer from the University it will include the cost of OSHC from Worldcare for the full duration of your study.
