Introduction

As years pass by people had invented different types of technologies. Several of

But before the computer has come the first invention that lead up to the computer

is the abacus. And also the word “computer “was first recorded as being used in 1613

originally was used to describe a human who performed calculation of computations.

And now a days almost each one of as a computer and connected to the internet

according to (the state of social media and digital in the Philippines for 2017) internet

penetration in the Philippines is at 58% of the total population and that presented it still

growing us use pass by.

In today’s millennial generation majority of use computer are the youth which is the

student of and times student need guider information making the use of computer?

Computers now is very essential to every one of the student because though the used

computer, guide ring information and communication to adders are much easier but.

There another reasons why the student bought computer and it is for their entertainment

purposes so that this study into know on how Grade 12 CSS use their computer and

went study go dipper we will tackle the good and bad effect of computer in their

academic performance
Statement of the problem

The main objective of this study is to determine The Effects of Computer in the

Academic Performance of Selected Grade 12 CSS Students. Further, it seeks to

answer the following.

• What are The Effects of Computer to the Academic Performance of Selected

Grade 12 CSS Students?

• Is there any relationship between Computers and Academic Performance of

Grade 12 CSS Students?

• Do computer have any significant Effect to the Academic Performance of

Grade 12 CSS Student?


Significance of the study

The purpose of this study is to determine the Effects of using Computer in the

Academic Performance of Selected Grade 12 CSS Students. The result of the

can benefit the following:

The Students:

This study could be a big help for the student especially for the CSS student. If

they will able to read our study. The will know what are The Effect of using

computer as it is not only for gaming or for entertainment , but also a big help for

their academic performance.

The Teacher:

This study can also benefit the teachers. Because if they will able to read our

study, they could know the ways on how to tell their students what are the ways

to use a computer. They will also be able to guide their students into the right

way of using a computer

The Parents:

This study can also benefit the parents. If they will able to read our study it could

be a lot of help for them. They will know what are the reasons why their children

are hooked by computers. Also it could be a guide to the parents for them to lead

their children into the right way of using a computer

Scope and Limitation


The research study will focus on The Effects of using Computers in the

Academic Performance of Selected Grade 12 CSS Student. The study was

limited to the effect of the computers to the grade 12 CSS students.

The research will be conducted at Cavite National High School Senior High

School. The study covered Grade 12 CSS Students with no particular gender of

Cavite National High School.

Hypothesis

The researchers hereby state the following hypothesis:

• There is no significant relationship between Computers and Academic

Performance of Grade 12 CSS Students.

• Computers have no significant effect to the academic performance of grade 12

CSS students.
