EXT. REI’S HOUSE - DAY

REI is a teenger, she has a short hair and she’s wearing a

glasses. She’s bored and she has nothing to do, she
started scrolling in her phone and she saw a dating app.

REI (thinking)
Hmmmm.. Should I install this app?

After how many minutes of thinking, REI decided to install

the dating app. REI create her account and started to
swipe through the dating app. After a few minutes, her
phone received a notification from the dating app.

REI
Oh, someone liked my profile, let
me see who is it...

Bumble NOTIFICATION. CM liked your profile.

CM is the one who liked REI’S profile on dating app. She

has a long hair, tall and she’s also wearing a glasses.

CM
Hi! Are the leo’s are not naughty?

REI
Hello! I think so? Why are you
asking?

CM
Nothing, because some of my
friends told me that leo’s
are not naughty.

REI and CM talked for hours. Both of them are asking some
questions that help them to know each other more.

INT. HOUSE [CM’S ROOM] - NIGHT

The Whole day, CM and REI are just talking. CM felt the
ease of talking to REI.

CM
By the way REI, I think we already need to
take a rest, both of us has classes tomorrow,
right?

REI
Oh yes, I have classes tomorrow. So, have a
good night, CM!

CM
Have a good night too, REI! Sleep well and
sweet dreams.

Before CM went to bed she wondered how long she could talk
to REI. After a day of talking, CM felt something
different towards REI. Something, magical.

CUT TO:
INT. REI’S HOUSE [ROOM] - DAY

The Alarm Clock RINGS. REI immediately turn off the alarm.

REI(shocked)
Oh God! I’m late for my first
class!

She stood up immediately to wash her face and brush her

teeth. After that, REI quickly took her laptop and enter
her online classes. After a few minutes, she received a
notification through her phone

Message NOTIFICATION. CM sent you a message

CM (on phone)
Good morning, REI! I hope you have a nice day
ahead! Be careful what on what you do today.

REI felt thrilled after she reads CM’S message.

REI
Oh hi CM! Good morning! You
too, have a nice day ahead
and take care!

CUT TO:
EXT. COFFEESHOP - DAY
After how many days of talking, they decided to see each
other.

CM
Hi REI, I’m already here at
the Coffee shop, where are
you?

REI
I’m almost there, sorry for waiting.

When REI arrived at the coffee shop, CM stood up to

welcome her.

REI
Hi! Again, I’m so sorry for waiting,
I stuck into a heavy traffic.

CM
It’s okay REI, no worries. So
what do you want? You want
coffee and pastries?
REI
I’ll get Matcha Latte and
croissant. How about you?

CM
Oh..umm I’ll get Caramel Macchiato
and cheesebread. Just wait here.

REI (nods)
Hmm, okay!

Then CM goes to counter and ordered. When their order is

done, CM returned to their table with their order.

CM
So here’s our order. Matche
Latte and croissant for you, and
Caramel Macchiato and
cheesebread for me!

REI
Thank you, CM!

While they are enjoying their food, both of them are

having fun with the company of each other. REI told how
she confessed to her parents that she likes girls, and CM
also tell her coming out story to REI.

REI (sincere tone)

I do really appreciate that you tell
your coming out story to me.

CM
Likewise REI, thank you for sharing
your coming out story.

After of hours talking and laughing, REI and CM decided to

got home because it’s already evening. CM offered REI to
take her home just tom make sure that REI arrived in her
home safe.

CUT TO:

INT. REI’S HOUSE - NIGHT

REI’S HOUSE - AT THE GATE

REI
Thank you CM for taking me home,
I already told you that it’s okay
but still you insisted.

CM
No problem REI and you’re
welcome. I just want to
make sure that you arrived
home safely, of course.

After having a chitchats, CM waved a last good bye to REI

before she totally take a ride to go home.

When REI got home and after doing her things, she
immediately message CM.

REI’S message to CM:

“Hi CM! I hope you arrived home safely, again
thank you for today! I really had fun with you! ‘til next
time! Also, I know you’re tired, so you should take a
rest. Have a good night!”

INT. CM’S HOUSE - NIGHT

CM received REI’S text message, after reading it CM had

little panic attack and suddenly she talked to herself.

CM
What should I reply? Come on
CM think fast! Don’t let her
wait to your reply.

CM is still contemplating on what she should reply to

REI’S text message. After how many minutes of
contemplating, she decided to reply to REI’S message.

CM’S text message to REI:

“Hello there REI! Yes I arrived home safely,
always welcome REI! I also had fun today being with you!

Looking forward to our next coffee date I guess? You too
REI, you should take a rest, good night!”

INT. REI’S ROOM - NIGHT

REI is doing some of her school activities and suddenly

received a notification. It’s CM’S reply to her message,
after reading CM’S reply, she respond quickly.

REI’S reply to CM’S message:

”Good night CM! See you again!”

CUT TO:

After how many months of talking, seeing, and having each

other, CM decided to confess her feelings for REI. CM
asked REI to a dinner.

CM
Rei, can I ask you for a
dinner?
REI (confused)
Hmm? Dinner? Why? Is there
any celebration?

CM
None, I just want you to take
you out for a dinner.
REI
Okay, CM. If you want to. Let’s have
dinner together.

CM
Thank you, REI. See you!

CUT TO:
INT. AT RESTAURANT - NIGHT

CM arrived at the restaurant first, while she’s waiting

for REI, she’s really nervous. She went to comfort room
just to fix her hair and look herself in the mirror.

CM
Okay CM, this is it. You
need to confess to her
and ask her to be your
girlfriend.

Before she finish fixing herself, she received a text

messages from REI.

REI’S text message:

“CM, I’m here, where are you?”

After reading REI’S message, she quickly ran out from the
comfort room. While she approaching their table she saw
REI wearing a white dress.

CM
H-hi REI, you look beautiful
tonight.

REI (giggles)
Oh thank you CM, you too. You
look beautiful and handsome at
the same time.

After that, CM and REI eat their dinner together. CM don’t

know how to start on how she will confess her feelings to
REI. Suddenly, REI noticed that CM was restless.

REI
CM, are you okay? I noticed
that you’re restless.

CM
Uhmm, there’s something that I
wanted to tell. But I don’t
know how to start.

REI
What’s that?

CM
I have feelings for you. I
like you REI.

REI was stunned after hearing those words from CM. She
really don’t know what to do. Although REI also has
feelings for CM.

REI
Are you for real? CM?

CM
No pressure REI, it’s okay if
you don’t like me, I just
want you to know that I like
you.

REI
I like you too, CM.

CM didn’t expect that REI will say that. She smiles at her
brightly. She’s happy because they have same feelings for
each other. After that night they both decided to
continue their relationship but in a serious one.

REI and CM'S relationship has been through lots of

challenges in the last few months, including sullenness,
jealousy, and misunderstandings. Nonetheless, despite of
those problems they reached their 1ST anniversary.

INT. AT CM’S HOUSE - DAY

CM’S ROOM
CM (excited)
Good morning love! Happy 1st
anniversary! I love you so
much!

REI(happy and excited)

Happy anniversary lover! Good
morning! I love you more!

They started their morning by giving each other a lot of

kisses and cuddle. Suddenly, CM took something from the
side of their bed.

CM
This is for you, love.

She handed a lavender flowers to REI.

REI (surprised)
Oh my lover, thank you so much
for this but it’s not necessary.
Your presence is enough, lover.

CUT TO:

Almost two years have passed and a lot of things have

changed in their relationship. They have lost time for
each other, REI has been busy with her projects as a
Graphic Designer, while CM is taking her review classes
to become a Registered Microbiologist.

Because of this, they frequently have misunderstandings

that lead to confrontations and fights till they started
physically hurting each other.

INT. CM’S HOUSE - NIGHT

REI (angry and crying)

I can’t take this anymore! I’m

hurting! Let’s stop this CM, Let’s
break up.

CM (emotionless)
If that’s what you want, then fine.
Let’s break up.
After that happenings, REI packed her things and left CM as
quickly as she can. CM left alone in their house.

CUT TO:
Six months has been passed, and CM wants to reached out to REI
but because of the happenings in their past, she decided to
message REI’S best friend, CHE, just to ask how’s REI.

CHE is REI’S best friend since they we’re in High School. She’s
the one who was there when REI was so broken when she broke up
with CM.

INT. CM’S OFFICE - DAY

CM’S message to CHE:

“Hi CHE! Sorry for messaging you but I just want to ask
how’s REI? It’s been six months since we broke up and I’m
wondering how she is? Thank you!”

CM waited for CHE’S reply, and after a few hours of waiting she
didn’t expect that CHE will call her as a response.

THE PHONE RANG - CM PICK UP THE CALL

CM
Hello CHE! Why did you call?
Did you received my message?
How’s REI?

CHE
She’s gone CM.

CM (clueless)
Huh? What do you mean she’s
gone? Does she go to abroad?
Does she pursue her dreams to
go in Switzerland?

CHE
No CM, she died. She died 3
months ago.

When CM heard what CHE said, her world seemed to collapse,

she didn’t know what to feel at that very moment, she

also started crying while talking to CHE on the phone.

CM (crying)
Why? What’s the reason? Is
this because of me? Tell me!

CHE
No CM, it’s not because of you.
REI got into a accident while
she’s in the field. A window
glass fell on her and a piece
of glass pierced directly to
her heart, she was immediately
rushed to the Hospital but she
was dead on arrival.

CM
Where is she buried? Can I
visit her?

CHE
She was buried next to her
grandmother, at the Forest
Park.

CM
Thank you so much, Che.

Right after CM and CHE talked, CM immediately left her

office just to go to REI’S grave.

INT. AT FOREST PARK - AFTERNOON

As CM was getting closer to REI’S grave, she couldn’t

stop crying a lot. And when CM was in REI’S grave already,
CM suddenly spoke.

CM (snobbing)
I wish I had stopped you the
day when you were breaking up
with me, I wish I hadn’t
agreed to what you wanted, I
wish I stood up for you, I
fought for our relationship. I
wish I had done those things
when you were still alive.

I thought we could continue

our love, that we simply
needed to part ways just to
pursue our own aspirations, I
believed that we would meet
again, but that was the end.

We are not destined to each
other. We are destined to
cause pain and break each
other’s heart.

CM spent the night at REI’S grave. Reminiscing on their

happy moments together. Their love story did not end
happily, they both harmed each other and gave up.
Sometimes people come into our lives and we think that
they are destined for us and "the one" for us, but
sometimes, we didn’t even realize that the ones we
thought were destined for us are the ones who destined to
hurt and break our heart into pieces.
