Currency Converter in OOP SYSTEM PROJECT

This document outlines a currency converter project created by a group of students. The project aims to develop a currency converter using Java that can accurately convert between different world currencies in real-time. It details the objectives, which include creating a converter that shows the latest exchange rates and applies object-oriented programming concepts. A flowchart illustrates the converter's workflow. I.Introduction

Most people in every country place a high value on money. Additionally, it is the cause of a

nation's prosperity and success. Money can be used to improve one's chances of success, and it

circulates across businesses, institutions of higher learning, and most notably, through every

person's work. Every country in the world has a currency exchange rate that influences both the

economic health and quality of life of its citizens.

The currencies around the world are mainly determined by the laws of supply and demand.

International trade has been the engine of growth and the cause of stability in many countries.

International trade flows have increased extremely over the last three decades. The reduction

of trade and policy barriers has contributed to the rise of global trade, but the interesting

question is if the exchange rates play any role in international economic relations.

Currency Converter in Java is useful for practicing Java Desktop Application development and

learning new skills. This project is quite useful, and the project's concept and logic are simple to

grasp. Currency converters are widely available for free on the Internet and can quickly convert

the value of one currency to another, such as dollars to pesos or pesos to pounds, and vice

versa.

Currency converters are useful, simple, accurate, and quick to use in any situation because the

user has it directly on his computer system, providing him or her with quick and real-time
access to doing business within and outside the country without the risk of making a human

error, which is common in most of these transactions.

This Currency Converter in Java Code is extremely simple to use; simply enter a number into the

system's input field, and once it has a data set, simply click the enter button to view the results.

II. Background of the Study

You may find a currency converter by searching on Google. Additionally, it is present at airports,

various banks to conduct business, people travel and exchange money often. Take a tour, shop

for bargains, and much more. Knowing the currency rates is crucial, especially for business

people who frequently buy supplies from other nations because they decide how much you will

have to spend. In addition, exchange rates change over time, so the converter should be as

current as possible. Tourists visiting other nations would require assistance with currency

exchange rates in order to understand how much their local currency would cost in the desired

country.

III. Objectives

General objective:

To develop a Currency Converter using Java to convert currency in the different countries in the

world.
Specific objectives:

• To create a converter that will show accurate conversion of the latest currency.

• To apply what we learned in object-oriented programming in making a currency

converter with well-defined functions.

• To engage in a group project to create a System

internet connection.

VII. Recommendation
