Learning Activities:
Starter Activity: Checking Prior Knowledge: - 2mins
Teacher will write “word” on the white board and will gather the knowledge, after this she will add “MS” before
“word” to check their understanding about it.

Cross-Curricular Link: English: Procedure Writing


Mathematics: Tables (Row and Columns)
PE: Rows
S.St: Neighboring Countries of Pakistan

Exposition: 3min
Students will be shown a table and ask them how do we create it?like on Paper we use pencil and scale to
make/draw a table so how do we create a table in MS Word.

Demonstration: 15mins
 Elaborate the content and demonstrate all the skills.
 While demonstrating the exercise, briefly explain the content mentioned in the “Neighbors of Pakistan”
document.

Practice Task: (Pair Work) 35mins


 Insert columns in a document.
 Insert rows and columns in existing tables
 Delete rows and columns from the table
 Find and replace words
 Change the view of the document
 Zoom in and out within the document
 Save the document
Plenary: 5mins
 How many Types of Indents in MS Word? (4 -first line indent, hanging indent, right indent and left
indent).
 Steps to insert columns and rows in MS word.
 Why do we use “Find and Replace” option in MS Word?
Extension Task:
 Create a table using MS Word and fill it with your pocket money expenses.
