Good morning, Magdagooc National High School. We are gathered here today to celebrate the 2023 National Women’s Month with the theme “WE/FOR GENDER EQUALITY/AND INCLUSIVE SOCIETY”. To start with, may we all rise for the singing of the Philippine National Anthem, Mrs. Maria Melissa Galera conducting. After which, we shall remain standing and be one in mind, body, and spirit as we praise and thank our Almighty God for all His graces and blessings through a prayer to be led by Mrs. Precious Love S. Abanil. OPENING REMARKS: BEFORE: Nothing can be more reassuring and heart-warming than affectionate words of welcome. To formally welcome us, let us lend our ears to our handsome and hardworking Teacher I of Magdagooc National High School, Mr. Robbel L. Coco, as he gives his opening remarks. Let us give him a big round of applause. AFTER: Thank you for the warm welcome, Sir. INSPIRATIONAL MESSAGE: BEFORE: Our program today is not just about celebrating women’s identity and their role in our society, but this is a way of empowering men and, especially, women regardless of age, religion, race, and socio-economic status to stand for GENDER EQUALITY AND INCLUSIVE SOCIETY. Now, our first speaker is an empowered woman herself. A woman that promotes equality and inclusivity. She’s a responsible mother to her children and a nurturing second mother to all of us. She worked as a teacher for _____ years here in Magdagooc National High School, living proof of an empowered woman – a woman that influenced the direction of social change as she molded hundreds of successful learners. Let’s not wait any longer. Let’s give a hand to Mrs. Erlinda C. Laroa, Retired Master Teacher I of MNHS for her inspirational message. AFTER: Thank you, ma'am. Indeed, you’re a powerful woman, a woman worth emulating. INTERMISSION: BEFORE: At this moment, let us be entertained by an intermission number by Kelsey Kate G. Page, a Grade-9 student. AFTER: Thank you so much, Kelsey. Congratulations on a job well done. INSPIRATIONAL MESSAGE: BEFORE: This year's theme for National Women’s Month is “WE/FOR GENDER EQUALITY/AND INCLUSIVE SOCIETY". The word "WE" reminds us of everyone's role in promoting gender equality and an inclusive society. It is not just the women that should work to achieve this mission. “WE” means that we should work together, help each other, and participate actively together to attain a society that is free from gender bias and discrimination, and to lessen the gaps between cultures to attain an inclusive society. Our last speaker today is a woman in action. She has been very active in the community. She spearheaded the Violence Against Women and Children or VAWC Campaign in the community that aims to raise awareness of the problem of violence and the elimination of all forms of violence against women and girls. Allow me to introduce to you our next speaker. She’s none other than, Kagawad Grace R. Mahay, Barangay Women’s Chairperson. Let’s give her a big round of applause, please. AFTER: Thank you so much, Kagawad Grace Mahay for that inspiring message. INTERMISSION: AFTER: Now, let’s be entertained again for another intermission number to be given to us by Rutchie U. Cusares, a Grade-9 Student. BEFORE: Thank you, Rutchie. CLOSING REMARKS: BEFORE: To formally end our program today, may I call in Mr. Meriole C. Rosell, Teacher III of MNHS for his closing remarks? AFTER: Thank you, Sir, and thank you everyone for being with us here today. LAST STATEMENT: THIS HAS BEEN YOUR HOST, NICOLE A. LEMONERAS, AND JOECEL F GONZALES SAYING “WE” SHOULD WORK TOGETHER, HELP EACH OTHER, AND PARTICIPATE ACTIVELY TOGETHER TO ACHIEVE A BIAS AND DISCRIMINATION-FREE AND INCLUSIVE SOCIETY.
