Introduction

In this five-day short course, you’ll learn all about becoming a data analyst, including the career
path possibilities. We’ll also give you the opportunity to practice the main responsibilities of a
data analyst as well!

Before you start...


1. You have to provide your answer in ​slides​. ​We’d like to point out that how you present
the answer matters to us.
2. Answer the questions and problems below to the best of your ability.
3. You may use any outside resources necessary to help in your answer.
4. You may use Excel, R, Python, Tableau, or any other tool you wish. ​Please provide the
codes used to produce the answers
5. Please use the following tools to answer the questions:
● google slide for the presentation.
● google sheet for any spreadsheet and calculation instead of microsoft excel.
● don’t forget to open access for view in your document!

Case study Instructions:

Note: You may use a free account on BigQuery to query and analyze the BigQuery dataset.

Please answer the below questions.

1. Look at this data and start thinking. List down 3 trends/points that you think need to be
shown.
2. From here, try to explore the data and make changes, filter, and prepare the data that
you need.
3. Create some visualisations or dashboard with the best type of chart that you have
learned. The easiest is with Google Data Studio or Google Sheets.
4. Then, make 1-2 slides from the graphs with the insights you got to present your findings
to the stakeholders (read this article from HBR)
