OBJECTIVE: To understand the significance of love and reverence of esteemed beloved


Holy Prophet (PBUH).

Treaty of Hudaybiyya is one of the significant events of Holy Prophet’s life. It laid the
foundation of conquest of Mecca. The Companions used to sacrifice their lives for the Holy
Prophet (PBUH). The Companions always respected and revered the Holy Prophet (PBUH).

In this assignment you have to write down 5 incidents in the form of points (in your own
words) that shows the love, respect and reverence of the Companions for Holy Prophet
(PBUH) during the event of Hudaybiyya only.

Must keep in mind the guidelines before attempting the assignment


No claim or excuse will be accepted; who ignore the following points:
1. Events other than Hudaybiyya will not be considered.
2. Your answer should be in the form of points with headings.
3. Total 5 points are required.
4. It is mandatory to write main point before explanation.
5. Explanation should be relevant with the main point and must be in your own words.
6. No detail explanation is required. It should be in 2-3 lines.

2. There are 3 marks for each point. Detail is given below:
 Main point/heading :1 mark
 Explanation :2 marks

After this assignment students will be able to learn the significance of love and reverence of esteemed
beloved Holy Prophet (PBUH) in the light of the lives of the Companions.
24 hours extra / grace period after the due date is usually available to overcome uploading
difficulties. This extra time should only be used to meet the emergencies and above mentioned
due dates should always be treated as final to avoid any inconvenience.

1. For acquiring the relevant knowledge, do not rely only on handouts but listen course
audio lectures, and also use other reference books.
2. For planning your semester activities in an organized manner, you are advised to view
schedule of upcoming Assignments, Quizzes and GDBs in the overview tab of the course
website on VU-LMS.

 Make sure to upload the solution file before due date on VULMS.
 Any submission made via email after the due date will not be accepted.

 Use the font style “Times New Roman” or “Arial” and font size “12”.
 It is advised to compose your document in MS-Word format.
 You may also compose your assignment in Open Office format.
 Use black and blue font colors only.

Please note that your assignment will not be graded or graded as Zero (0), if:
 It is submitted after the due date.
 The file you uploaded does not open or is corrupt.
 It is in any format other than MS-Word or Open Office; e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, PDF etc.
 It is plagiarized (copy-pasted), copied from other students, internet, books, journals etc.

The academic activities have started and load shedding problem is prevailing in our country
nowadays. Keeping in view the fact, you all are advised to post your activities as early as
possible without waiting for the due date. For your convenience; activity schedule has already
been uploaded on VULMS for the current semester, therefore no excuse will be entertained after
due date of assignments, quizzes or GDBs.
