Multifunctional Building Over 2.5 Acres Site
The client aims for an ambitious goal: constructing an impressive
structure in the suburban area of Saadiqabad. This endeavor seeks
to demonstrate the high level of respect they command within the
community. Their vision is crystal clear: they intend to craft a build-
ing that fulfills a dual role. On one hand, it will function as a hub
for their business activities, facilitating meetings, discussions, and
social gatherings. On the other hand, it will provide a serene resi-
dential haven for their guests and themselves.

The building’s design seamlessly integrates private, public, and semi-public spac-
es, all interconnected through a common lobby and waiting area. These spaces are
thoughtfully linked to central open courtyards, providing a direct connection to nature.
The private area boasts two master bedrooms with attached bathrooms, a din-
ing area, and a lounge for the client’s personal use. In contrast, the public space
13 encompasses staff working areas, two executive offices, and restroom facili-
11 ties. The semi-public section is dedicated to four guest bedrooms, each with
its attached bathroom for special guest stays. Additionally, two servant quar-
ters are discretely located, separate from the main building’s direct access.
To facilitate various needs, there is an industrial-style kitchen for event catering and
13 ample storage areas alongside the kitchen for efficient storage solutions. It’s import-
10 11 ant to highlight that one-third of the site area has been allocated for constructing
the building, while the remaining two-thirds have been dedicated to landscaping.

Karachi Stock Exchange
Massing and Feasibility Study
The Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) has a big mission: it wants
to become a top financial institution. Their main goal is to create
a fair, efficient, and transparent stock market in their region.
They’re in Karachi, a busy part of Pakistan with historic places
and tall buildings.
The KSE is all about being efficient, fair, and transparent. They
plan to change how they look, not just to refresh their image,
but also to inspire other financial organizations in the area. They
want more than just nice building in Karachi; they want an en-
vironment that helps finance grow, makes investors trust them,
and pushes the boundaries of what financial institutions can do.

Belonging to the distinguished lineage of the ‘Sadaats’, the client
remains deeply rooted in their religious convictions and cus-
toms. They have entrusted me with the task of conceptualizing
a residence that not only reflects their devout beliefs – including
the practice of ‘pardah’ for female family members – but also
embodies a robust and purposeful architectural design.

Designed for a privileged five-member family in Karachi’s pres-
tigious DHA area, this residence maximizes a vacant 2,200
square yard plot. The client’s vision encompassed not only im-

Various cultures have distinct associations with specific
times of the day and spaces. In the past, traditions like
gathering on verandas for family conversations were
common. Reflecting on my own childhood, a time before
the internet made the world a global village, people lived in
their own separate worlds, unaware of what was happen-
ing elsewhere. They cherished their established customs,
valued their sensibilities, and maintained strong bonds
with one another. Quality time was spent together, espe-
cially when returning home from work or business, mak-
ing the most of holidays to connect with relatives.

AGA Khan Girls Secondary School Extension
The Aga Khan Schools strive to create a harmonious balance
between academic demands, sporting and cultural activities and
community life. It challenges its pupils to be intellectually inquis-
itive and socially conscious. The design for this school building
places a strong emphasis on fostering informal exchanges and
creating a dynamic learning environment within the community.

MASJID ABU BAQR
Designed Masjid for 150 persons for local community
This project represented a voluntary effort undertaken by an
individual preparing for the next phase of his journey. Motivat-
ed by a profound commitment to the Islamic principle of “sad-
qa-e-jahriya,” which involves performing deeds with permanent
impact, he aspired to establish a legacy while still alive. His cho-
sen aim was the creation and construction of a mosque intend-
ed to be a constant source of blessings.
The primary goal was to design a mosque that not only served
its spiritual and functional purposes but also harmoniously
blended with its natural environment. The mosque must stand

MASJID RAH GUZR
Designed Masjid for 63 persons
Just off the highway that links Hyderabad to Jamshoro in Sindh,
you’ll come across a mosque designed with a clear purpose.
This project was initiated by a client who owns several petrol
stations across the state. The vision was straightforward: to
build a mosque that seamlessly serves travelers, with a special
focus on those driving trailers. This mosque serves as a sanc-
tuary for travelers in the midst of their highway journeys. Here,
they can easily perform ablutions, join in prayer, and take a brief
respite before resuming their travels.

Islam, a religion known for its simplicity and emphasis on good deeds, inspired me to create
a straightforward architectural design—a cube. The cube represents purity and serenity,
mirroring the core principles of simplicity that Islam promotes. To capture a sense of tran-
quility, I chose a white visual aesthetic.
Considering the hot and humid location of the site, the building incorporates two protective
05 layers. The first is the outer perimeter, and the second is the inner walls. These layers shield
against the harsh external climate, much like how religious deeds shield us from negative
04 influences. Additionally, this design enhances energy efficiency by 30%.
Within this compact structure, there are three distinct spaces. The heart of the building
is the fully protected main prayer hall, accommodating twenty-eight worshippers. The
semi-protected verandah can host fourteen individuals at a time.
Lastly, there’s the open

Our architectural vision is all about designing a space that feels
welcoming, dynamic, and inspiring. We want it to be super com-
fortable and also really practical. In this space, you’ll find a lot of
different areas to explore, and there are long lines of sight, so
it’s easy to find your way around. Plus, you’ll have lots of inter-
esting views both inside and outside.

GCT Hilal School
Green Crescent Trust, a non-profit organization, embarked on
a mission to combat illiteracy in 1994, starting with just twen-
ty-four students and a group of dedicated individuals. Over the
years, their commitment has grown, and they now serve over
twenty-eight thousand students through more than one hun-
dred and fifty schools across the country, primarily in under-
privileged areas.
