Objectives must be met over the week and connected to the curriculum standards. To meet the objectives necessary procedures must be
followed and if needed, additional lessons, exercises, and remedial activities may be done for developing content knowledge and competencies.
I. OBJECTIVES
These are assessed using Formative Assessment strategies. Valuing objectives support the learning of content and competencies and enable
children to find significance and joy in learning the lessons. Weekly objectives shall be derived from the curriculum guides.

diverse communities in the region

Performance Standard Creates an artwork showing the characteristic elements of the arts of Southeast Asia.
Learning  Analyzes elements and principles of art in the production of arts and crafts inspired by the cultures of Southeast Asia (A8EL-Ib-1)
Competency/Objectives  Identifies characteristics of arts and crafts in specific countries in Southeast Asia: Indonesia (batik, wayang puppetry); Malaysia
Write the LC code for each. (modern batik, wau, and objects made from pewter); Thailand (silk fabrics and Loi Kratong Lantern Festival); Cambodia ( Angkor
Wat and ancient temples); Singapore (Merlion), etc. (A8EL-Ia-2)
 Reflect on and derive the mood, idea, or message from selected artifacts and art objects (A8PL-Ih- 1)
Appreciates the artifacts and art objects in terms of their utilization and their distinct use of art elements and principles (A8PL-Ih-2)
