Activation of 3rd party SIP account using PortSIP App

PortSIP Softphone is a SIP-based softphone for Android and iPhone that uses Wi-Fi or
4G/LTE connection to make and receive calls from our NS-300 IP-PBX

System Requirements

iPhone requires iOS 11.0 or later or Android ver. 9


Recommends high battery capacity Li-Po 4310 mAh, non-removable or higher

Installation Process

Download on Playstore for Android or Apple App for IOS

PortSIP Softphone App

Sample Only

1. Encode the followings

Username : 2001

Password : ovp2001

SIP Domain : 192.168.10.19

Username=Extension Number

Password=ovp+Extension Number

SIP Domain=PBX IP address 192.168.10.19


2. Wait for a seconds until screen becomes.

Now you can dial extension number OVP Mandaluyong.

Web Programming for NS-300

The following steps outline the typical configuration process:

1. Open the Web Management console for the Panasonic PBX via a web
browser 192.168.10.19 IP address of the PBX and login as Username:
INSTALLER, Password 12345.

2. The PBX Configuration/Slot screen should display by default.


3. Hover the mouse over the Virtual Slot and click on Select Shelf.

4. Virtual Slot screen should display and have at least 1 V-SIPEXT32 Extension Slot Card.
If not, drag and drop one from the Extension Slot card window into the next available extension
Slot.
5. Hover the mouse over the V-SIPEXT32 card and click on Port Property.

6. If automatic extension numbering is enabled the available extensions to use will be listed, so
you can the select an unused extension and click on that row’s Connection field. On the
Command popup window, click OUS to take the port out of service.
7. With the port out of service, the password field becomes editable. Key
in a password to be used for this extension.

8. Click Apply button on the screen at the lower right and leave the web browser on
this screen as you will need to return here later.
9. Restart the PABX.

• Minimum Requirements (for installing the IP Softphone only)

RAM: 1 GB
HDD: 1 GB available space (when installing)
Display: XGA (1024 x 768)
LAN (Ethernet): 100BASE-T

Peripheral Devices: Sound Board, Speaker, Microphone

PBX: Main Processing (MPR) software version of the Hybrid IP-PBX must be as follows:
KX-NS300BX: PMPR Software File Version 8.0000
KX-NSM201 IP Softphone license

Installation Process

Get a copy of Panasonic IP Softphone (must provide by Installer)

IP Softphone in both office and remote location. Previously, remote workers were
unable to simply move between office and remote locations.
Registering IP Telephones

After the programming of the PBX and IP telephone is finished, the IP telephone must
be registered to the PBX. This is done using the Maintenance Console.

Registration of Panasonic IP-PTs Softphone

1. a. Under Configuration, click Slot.


b. Move the mouse pointer over the PBX image of IPCMPR Virtual Slot at the top
of the screen and click Select Shelf. Move the mouse pointer over the V-
IPEXT32 card. A menu will be shown under the mouse pointer.
c. Click Port Property.

2. Click IP-PT Registration. A dialogue box will appear. Non-registered (available)


extension numbers and names are displayed on the left.
3. Click Next
4. Registration Executing
Until green button Complete.
