HACKVCIS
WHAT IS HACKVCIS?
HackVCIS is an international student-run digital hackathon, organized by Varee
Chiang Mai International School, a leading international school in Thailand. In
this event, students aged 13-18 from all around the world collaborate and work
on cool hardware and software projects for under 36 hours. The hackathon will
include beginners to expert workshops for hackers prior to the event, meaning
regardless of coding experience, anyone can join. In addition, each participant
gets a swag pack for free! Participants can attend in teams of up to 4, can join
individually, or form teams during the actual event.

There are 4 tracks to choose from in the event. Each team may only choose one
of the following:

TRACK 1
Sustainability
Projects aiming to make our world
more sustainable, tackles
environmental issues such as climate
change.

TRACK 2
Healthcare
Aim to create innovative
technologies which provides further
understanding or solutions for health
related issues.

TRACK 3
Education
Education tech projects which
could shape our education
system, or disrupt how we learn
into a more innovative way.

TRACK 4

Aim to create innovative projects
related to finance management or
trading apps.

WORKSHOPS

Beginner
Workshops
Beginner workshops are for people with little
or no programming experience at all. The
beginner workshops include Intro to web
development, and others which is to be
confirmed.

Advanced
Workshops
Advanced workshops are for hackers who
have experience programming. This could
include data science, using Azure APIs,
deploying machine learning models, and
more. Please note that the workshops are to
be confirmed.
