4) Differentiate between ADC, RODC & CDC?


ADC is Additional domain controller which can help provide fault tolerance, balance
the load of existing domain controllers, and provide additional infrastructure
support to sites.

RODC is a Read only domain controller that contains read on the Active Directory
database copy and response to security authentication requests.
CDC is Change domain controller it is a computer that is used as a controller for a
child domain in a Windows Server domain. CDC can be used to manage user
accounts, group policy, and other aspect of child domain. It is used to provide higher
security high level of security for a child domain.
5) What do you understand by the term Active Directory?
Active Directory is a directory which keeps the network related information in an
organized way it collects all the information regarding users.
6) What is Active Directory Domain Controller?
Active Directory Domain Controller is to authenticate and validate the user access
on the network whenever the user log into their domain, controller verifies the
username password and other credentials with the help of data gathered by active
controller to allow or deny the access for the user.
