ASSIGNMENT PREPARATION GUIDELINES

1. Follow the format of assignment template and include the contents accordingly. Do not
change the format of the existing assignment template.

2. You need to carryout independent research and create your own content. Your assignment
will be evaluated on basis of the originality of the contents. Strict actions would be taken
on plagiarized content and students will be charged with Academic misconduct.

3. The content should be in Times New Roman, Font Size 12 and Main headings in Size 16
and Sub headings in Size 14.

4. All paragraphs must be justified.

5. The line spacing has to be 1.5.

6. The figures must be labelled using the format “Figure Activity Number.Serial Number:
Caption of the Figure” with center alignment. E.g.: Figure 1.1: This is a Sample Figure

7. The assignment should be grammatically correct, and word processed. You can check for
spelling and grammar mistakes using Word processing tools.

8. Follow the sample template for header and footer and change the subject name, student
name and registration number only. Do not modify the structure of the template.

9. The report must be presented in a professional manner and a consistent format must be
used throughout the document.

10. All the referencing should be cited in Harvard Style and the assignment should include
intext referencing wherever applicable. All references must be included in the reference
sheet and should be arranged in alphabetical order.

Note: Always make regular backup of your assignment to avoid data loss or damage.
Make an extra hard copy of your work submitted for your own reference in the future.
