Finished size 36" x 36"
Finished block size 9" x 9"

CUTTING DIRECTIONS
Fabric 1:
• Cut 72—3" finished quarter square triangles
• Cut 36—triangle in square center triangles

Fabric 2:
• Cut 4—21⁄2" strips across the width of fabric (WOF) for binding
• Cut 6—11⁄2" strips across the WOF for sashing
Sub cut into 24, 11⁄2" x 91⁄2" rectangles
• Cut 54—3" finished quarter square triangles
• Cut 18 pairs—triangle in square side triangles

Fabric 3:
• Cut 4—21⁄2" strips across the WOF for border
• Cut 54—3" finished quarter square triangles
• Cut 18 pairs—triangle in square side triangles
• Cut 16—11⁄2" squares for cornerstones
TIP: Cut one 11⁄2" strip. Lay strip across GO! Strip Cutter-11⁄2" to
cut 11⁄2" squares.

SEWING DIRECTIONS

NOTE: Press seams toward the darker fabric or for the least bulk
• GO! Quarter Square-3" Finished Triangle (55396) or as directed.
• GO! Triangle in Square-3" Finished (55027) 1. Lay out two Fabric #1, one Fabric #2 and one
Fabric #3 quarter square triangles as shown.
• GO! Strip Cutter-11⁄2" (55024)
2. Pin and sew together to form two combined
• GO! Strip Cutter-21⁄2" (55014 or 55017)
triangle units.
FABRIC REQUIREMENTS 3. Pin and sew two combined triangle units
• Fabric 1—1 yard together to form quarter square unit. Make 36
quarter square units as shown.
• Fabric 2—11⁄4 yards (includes binding)
4. Lay out two Fabric #2 and two Fabric #3
• Fabric 3—11⁄8 yards
quarter square triangles as shown.
• Backing—42" x 42"
5. Pin and sew together to form two combined
• Batting—42" x 42" triangle units.
6. Pin and sew two combined triangle units
together to form quarter square unit. Make nine
quarter square units as shown.
7. Pin and sew one pair of Fabric #2 triangle in
square side triangles to one Fabric #1 triangle
in square center triangle. Make 18 triangle in
square units.

8. Pin and sew one pair of Fabric #3 triangle in


square side triangles to one Fabric #1 triangle
in square center triangle. Make 18 triangle in
square units.
9. Lay out five quarter square units and four
triangle in square units for one block as shown.
10. Pin and sew together. Make nine blocks.
11. Lay out three rows of three blocks
according to quilt diagram with
Fabric #2, 11⁄2" x 91⁄2" sashing
rectangles and Fabric #3, 11⁄2"
cornerstone squares.
12. Pin and sew blocks and sashing into
rows. Press seams toward sashing.
13. Pin and sew rows together. Press
seams toward sashing.
14. Add Fabric #1, 21⁄2" border strips to the sides
first, then top and bottom of quilt center.
Press seams toward sashing.

QUILTING AND FINISHING


1. Layer batting between quilt top and backing.
2. Pin or baste layers together.
3. Quilt as desired.
4. Add Fabric #2 binding strips, mitering corners.
