Script

Francisca: Hello everyone. My name is Francisca Perez. I am from 9th grade.

Nicolás: Hello there. My name is Nicolas Montecinos. I am from 8th grade. We also are going to be
the hoster of the new version of the English Festival.

Francisca: Let’s continue with this show. Now, we invite to the stage to the students from 5th and
6th grade who are going to sing a beautiful song.

Nicolás: The name of the song is “Somewhere over the rainbow” Recibámoslos con un gran
aplauso.

(2. Students sing)

Francisca: In order to continue with this show. We will invite to three students from 11th grade
who present a very short sketch. Something went wrong in a class of our Teacher of science. Let’s
take a look.

Nicolas: Para continuar con este espectáculo. Invitaremos a un grupo de estudiantes del 3er año
medio quienes nos presentarán una breve obra. Algo salió mal en una clase de ciencias. Miremos!

Magdalena: That was really awful. We will have to pay attention to experiments in future classes.

Paz: Yeah, totally right. Anyway, let’s continue with the show. It is time to present to the youngest
of this school. Students from 1st to 4th grade will sing and dance the song “I’m so happy”

Magdalena: Para continuar con el show, es tiempo de presentar a los más pequeños del colegio.
Los estudiantes de 1ro a 4to año básico cantarán y bailarán la canción “I’m so happy”

(4 1st to 4th grade)

Nicolás: That was very good! Don’t you think?

Francisca: So nice. Well, it is time to present to a very particular comedy. It is named The Plague
Comedy.

Nicolás: Es tiempo de presentar un comedia bien particular. Esta se titula “La comedia de la plaga”

Francisca: Let’s invite to stage to Joseph Vivar and Alan Reynu, students from 11 th grade!

Magdalena: That was very funny. Let’s give again a big applause (People clap hands). Very good,
well now two students from 7th grade, Macarena Carrasco and Anita Imilmaqui are going to sing
the song Heather by Conan Grey.
Paz: 2 estudiantes del 7mo año básico presentarán la canción Heather. Aplausos para ellas, por
favor.

Francisca: Beautiful song. This song “Heather2 gained popularity on the video-sharing
platform TikTok, consequently spawning the meme-like titular phrase which one can use to
describe a "beautiful girl" which one aspires to look like

Nicolás: Esta canción ganó popularidad en la plataforma para compartir videos TikTok, en
consecuencia generó la frase titular similar a un meme que se puede usar para describir a una
"chica hermosa" a la que muchas chicas aspiran a parecerse. As an extra information.

Francisca: Very good then, Now, we will invite to Ana Sofia from 10th grade to the stage. She
will sing the song I don’t wanna be you anymore. By Billie Eilish.

Magdalena: Fantastic! A very beautiful song. Now, please, let’s receive in this stage to 3
students from 11th grade. They Will perform a sketch named “The Avengers”

Paz: I got terrified with this presentation. Ler’s give again an applause to all the participants on
this show.

Well, a special time has come. Our classmates from 12th grade are about to leave the school
