OPERATIONAL PROCEDURE

Operation Procedure:

1. Examine how the machine is configured. Make sure there is no split


liquid nearby and that the area is dry.
2. Check the keyboard and computer's stability.
3. Examine the cables and power chords. Check connections.
4. Remove everything that will impede using the computer, like dust,
and needless items.
5. Turn on AVR/UPS and then turn on the computers.
6. Make good use of the computer. Do not download from
unauthorized or dangerous websites.
7. Scan and clean external hard or flash drives before use. Make sure
to close the document or software and eject it after use.
8. When not in use, properly shut down the computer.
9. After turning off the PC, turn off the AVR/UPS.
10. After use, put the keyboard and mouse back where they belong.
11. Cover the desktop computer to keep it safe. (If applicable)
12. Log out if your away by pressing Window + L.
13. If an operating system is commercially available, only use and
install the genuine article with a valid license. For example,
Microsoft, to protect the machine and avoid future issues and
hassles.
14. To prevent harm to the computer from viruses, worms, dangerous
files, and ransomware, update virus definitions.
15. If your operating system is open source or commercially available,
you should periodically upgrade it. You should also have a real
license that was obtained when you bought your operating system.

 Are the ceiling, windows, walls, and floors clean and look over?

 Is the dust-off lamps and bulbs, replace broken ones, and


maintain a clean exhaust system to maintain and inspect the
lighting in the workshop?

 Is the computer setup being vital? Do you make sure the


monitor, CPU, keyboards, and mouse are free of dust,
superfluous markings, and clutter cleaned and checked?
 Is the computer being cleaned and examined the HVAC system:
such as:
-keep the filter and screen clear of rust and dust.
-Make sure that the selector knobs are in their proper places
and working.
-Make sure the drainage is functioning properly ?
 Is the tool room free of dust, with legible and visible labels/signages,
logbook and forms complete, in order and updated? Tools with safety
guards and in appropriate positions/locations?

 In the wash area clean, sanitized, free from unnecessary objects


such as mops, rags? Are all water, drainage and electrical systems
functional?

 Are there available receptacles for waste? Are the waste materials
properly segregated and disposed?
