    Signs

    Signs for danger and fire extinguishers were given

    Fire staircase

    No separate fire staircase for fire which is remote from the internal staircase.

    2 staircase were provided which can be used during fire which had extinguishers near staircase in
    each floor

    Fire lift

    No separate fire lift

    And the given lift should not be in case of emergency

    Fire extinguishers

    Minimum 2 fire extinguishers per floor should be provided

    And 2 extinguishers were given

    All the extinguishers are dry powder extinguishers

    Which is used in case of

    Class A - wood, papers , textiles etc

    Class B - flammable liquids

    Class c - gaseous fires

    And live Electrical equipments

    Down-comer and hose reel

    Hose reel should be provided in each floor

    2 hose reel were given in each floor

    The hose reel were connected with the down comer pipe

    The Down-comer pipe was connected to terrace tank

    It had landing vales on each floor

    No separate fire fighting tanks were provided And it can be provided separately and down-comer
    pipes can be connected to the fire fighting tank
    Automatic sprinkler system

    It should be provided only in the basement if the area is more than 200 sq m

    There is no basement

    And 7 extinguishers and 2 extinguishers are given in the stilt parking which can be used in case of
    emergency

    Fire alarm

    It is of 2 types

    Manual and automatic

    Manually operated fire alarm should be provided in each floor

    It was only given in the stilt

    Each Floor should be provided with the manual alarm

    Automatic alarms can also be provided which will be able to detect the earliest signs of fire and
    alert building occupants without human intervention

    Illumination of means of exit

    The staircase and corridors should have the emergency lights all the accessories used for
    emergency light shall have fire retardant material

    Illumination of means of exit is not provided And it should be provided

    Inference: xs courtyard

    Signages weren't clear enough

    There might have been a fire staircase for emergency purpose and a connecting passage which
    connects all the blocks to one to evacuate peoples easily.

    There were around 5-6 fire extinguishers on each floor but different varients like CO2, water, foam
    and dry powder. It would've been better if signages were indicated at these places
    There were fire sand buckets just for name sake

    Fire sprinkler systems should be installed on a distance of _____m

    The staircase accessed were common and there weren't any means of safety transportation as of
    now. It is better to install permanent speakers on each block to announce if something happens.
