An aggregate is defined in the Aggregate Maintenance screen for an InfoCube by dragging and dropping dimensions and characteristics from the left side to the right. The defined aggregate must then be activated and filled by clicking the candle icon. This will populate the aggregate with summarized data. The aggregate hierarchy can also be viewed to see how aggregates relate to each other and determine if an aggregate can be deleted.
