Week 6: Practice Challenge 1 - Charts

You work for an online book store that sells a lot of books. You have been asked to develop a dashbo
annually. To do this you will need to create several charts. You need to perform the following steps
* Calculate the missing totals in column S and row 30
* Create a Pie Chart to show sales by Region.
* Move the chart to the top left hand side of the sheet and resize it so it takes up about a quarter of
* Add the Chart Title "Regional Sales"
* Add labels that show percentage
To show the total sales by Genre we are going to have to select non-contiguous data (remember wee
* Select the ranges N17:R17 and N30:R30 (but not the cells between)
* Insert a Column chart (to make it more colourful: click Switch Row/Column on your Chart Tools De
* Move and resize the chart so it sits nicely between your pie chart and the data
* Add the chart title "Genre Sales"
* Change the Primary Vertical Axis display unit to "Millions"
* Move the Legend to Top
Finally let create a chart that will look at sales trends for the different genres from 2005 to 2016
* Select the range N17:R29 and press Alt+F1 (Fn+Option+F1 on a Mac) - you get an instant Column C
* Change the chart type to a Line Chart
* Move the line chart so that it sits nicely below the other charts and stretches the full width of the s
* Add the chart title "Genre Sales by FY"
* Show legend at right
* Change the Primary Vertical Axis display unit to "Millions"
* Make any formatting changes you think look good, sit back and admire your work.
