FIRTICLIENT VPN

1. Download the installer from the following link: https://links.fortinet.com/forticlient/win/vpnagent


2. Once downloaded, run the installation file. It’s only necessary to grant permissions and click on “Next” so that the
program begins to install the necessary files for the vpn operation.
3. Once installed, run the “FortiClient VPN” program (it should already appear in your programs list). Activate the
checkbox on the welcome screen and click “I accept”. Then click on the “Configure VPN” button and set the
parameters on the “IPsec VPN” tab as shown in the following picture:

o VPN: Ipsec VPN


o Connection Name: Sampling International
o Description:
o Remote Gateway: 201.140.178.82
o Authentication Method: Pre-Shared key (Type the following key: TrueBlu3$2022)
o Authentication (XAuth): Save login
o Failover SSL VPN: [None]
o Username: b.shiraz

4. After configuring the VPN parameters, click on “Save” and the login window will be shown.
5. In the login window, type the password and click “Connect” and wait for the “VPN Connected” status.
o Password: 1p@ss4BS!
REMOTE DESKTOP CONNECTION
1. Once the VPN is connected, click on your windows start button and type “Remote Desktop Connection” and run
the program.
2. Type the following IP address: 192.168.51.15 and then click on “Connect”.
3. The program will ask you for credentials:
 Username: bee.shiraz
 Password: 1p@ss4BS!
 Check the “Remember my credentials” box.
 On the next screen, check the “Don’t ask me again for connections to this computer” and click “Yes”
4. After this, the program will show you another desktop screen from where you can connect to the SI corporate
servers. By the moment, there is just one shortcut to the MX file server.
