Essential cake baking &
decorating tools:

1. Mixing bowl-you need a variety of mixing bowls


in different shapes and sizes for blending your dry and
wet ingredients.

2. Scale-you need a scale,to attain light and spongy cakes,


need to use the exact amount of ingredients.

3. Whisk-is a utensil which can be used to mix ingredients


to give it a smooth texture by incorporating air into the
mixture.
4. Measuring cups and spoon- ensure precise
and consistent measurement for all recipes and
are perfect for baking or cooking.

5. Offset spatula- is necessary, have a very straight


edge which makes it easy to keep the frosting
on the sides of your cake nice and straight.

6. Pastry brush- is a little tool that is very useful in


cake baking, from spreading butter on cake pans
to soaking cakes in simple syrup.
7. Cake turn table- the ability to spin it while applying the
icing will ensure that the frosting is even and straight,
it will never move while decorating.

8. Serrated knife- usedful for cutting cakes of all kinds,


cutting the top off of a cake or slicing a cake into layers.

9. Pastry bag- very important to cake decorating,


or when you’re just writing a simply decoration.
10. Cooling racks- is the perfect in between spot
to put a cake after the oven and before the fridge.

11. Cake decorating tips- are the nozzles on the end of a


pastry bag that the frosting or filling is forced through
to apply it to cakes, cookies, or pastries.
