Ms word:- ms word is a word processing

program, which helps to vreate dyanamic


document where we can insert many
types of graphics and charts.
We can insert hyperlinks, pictures, clips,
videos,objecs…etc
Ms word mainly use in office
environment, where it helps to create
official documents.
Paste:- this option put the data from the clipboard .When we just paste the data it will insert the text as
it is.

Paste special:- using this option we can insert the copied or cut data in many formats like without
format, as a picture, as a html text… etc

CUT:- it helps to cut the data from the original place and put it in the clipboard

Copy:- it helps to make clones of the selected text. When we copy a data it will make a clone of the
text and put it in clipboards

Format painter:- using this option we can copy the format from the text and paste the format to another
text.

To use the format painter firstly we have to place the cursor to the formatted text and then click on the
format painter option after just select the destination text it will automatically past the formation from
desired text.

Fonts group:- Using this group we can change the selected text fonts size color etc.. this group contain
many option like fonts size color highlighted cross through sub script super script

Some of the important option:-

1.change case
2. format eraser

3.shadow

Change case:- using the optyiin we can change the case of the selected text from lower case to upper
case etdc..

We can change the selected text into upper case lowercase toggle case sentence case capital each word
etc..

Format eraser:- using this option we can remove all formatting from any selected text…

It means when we selected a text and click ob this option it will rermove all the formatting like font
color font underline many more.

Bulletins:- this option having many bullet points which we can in our document.

When we click on this option it will put a main bulletin on the cursor position .

Some shortcut:-

1.Using 1. Tab button we can insert a number bulletpoint


2.Using a. tab we can insert a point bullentin
3. Using *tab we can insert a point bulletin
4.Using > tab we can insert short arrow bullet point
5.Using -->tab we can insert arrow bullet point
6. Using-tab we can insert a dash bullet point
7. For creating our own bullet point please follow these following steps.

Download a png or jpg picture/icon then go to the msword on the paragraph group click
on the bullet point option  click on “define new bullet point”  then click on the picture
option  t6hen click on the downloaded picture click ok  now the bulletin will be available to
use.

Increase indent:- using this option we can increase the indent position on the ruler so that the
paragraph will move a bit ahead on the paper.

Decrease indent:- if we increase the indent then only we can decrease the indent.

Short:- using the short option we can short the paragraphs as ascending order or descending
order.
Shorting option will work with many types of texts like text, number, data …etc.
Hider and show:- this option will shows all applied working on the document like where we
break the page, apply the tabs, enters, space,... etc.
This option helps to review the document very easily.

Alignment tools:-
There are total three alignment tools available in word available in word, using all the alignment
tools we can align the text to middle of the document or left, right of the document.
Justify:-
This option distribute text evenly between the indents.

Line option distribute text evenly between the indents.


Line speacing:- using this option we can increase or decrease lne space, between two lionew ,or
we can also adjust the space between two paragraphs.

It helps a lot when we work with a document where we require more in one page.

Shading:- using this option we can insert shaded color to the paragraph, or we can insert a
shaded color to only a single line, this option helps to highlight a specific or para.

Bored:-

Using this board option we can insert a board to the paragraph, so that we can distribute
paragraphs. We can also insert board all the side of the paragraph or only a single side.

There are several shortcuts to insert bottom border:-

1. ===enterdouble line border


2. ---entersingle line border
3. ***enterdash, dash border
4. ###enterstyles’

Quick style:- using this option we can quick style the whole document, by just using the templates.

We can also create our own templates for using them in our document again and again.

Find:- it helps to find a specific text on the document.

It will find the text and highlight them.

Goto:- it helps to go to any specific location on the document like page to page, line number….etc.
Replace:- it helps to replace a text with another text with a single click on the whole document.

Select object:- it helps to select the object available on the document.

We can easily select an object which is hide the texts.

Shapes:- using this option we can create different types of shapes on the word document.

Smart art:- using this option we can insert smart arts like flow charts cycles…etc.

Smart art option having many templates.

Chart:- using this option we can insert charts like pie chart, column, scatter, area, row,…etc charts

HYPERLINKS:- USING THIS OPTION we can insert links to another file on our document, we can also
make links of headings, bookmarks…etc on the same document.

Header:- Header is the top margin of every page. Using the header option we can insert headers in our
document where we can insert header in our document where we can insert the name of the book, tiltle
sub title…etc.

When we insert a header to a page it will insert same header to every page on the section.

Footer:- footer is the bottom margin of every pageno, the top bottom or on the cursor position…

Page no :- using this option we can insert the page no to the top, bottom or on the cursor postion.

Text box:- using this option we can insert a text box and write anything on it and place the box anywhere
on the document.

Quick part:- using this moption we can create sjot cuts to long text or paragraphs

How to make short cut for long text or para?

Firstly we have tyo select the text which the text which we want to make a shortcut then go to the quick
part gallery then it will appear a dialogue box , write a shortcut anme for the para o0r text then press
ok.

 TO active the shortcut” write the short text an press F3


Words art:- it helps to write
Drop cap:- it will drop 2lines the first character of the paragraph.

It will write large capital letter on the beginning of the paragraph .

Signature line:-
USING THIS OPTION we can insert a signature line to the document.

DATE AND TIME:- it helps to insert the date and time in different formats.

Objects:- it helps to insert an external file as an object in our document. When ever we can
insert it as an object.

Equation:- it will provide a plain canvas to make different types of mathematical or physical
phenomena or equations.

It will contain different types of equation formats which helps to create equation very easily.

Symbols:- there are many different of symbols available.

So we can insert them by using this option.
