Steady light indicates the router is on. When blinking indicates system is functioning Steady light indicates a valid ADSL connection. The light will be steady after the ADSL negotiation process has been settled. Blinking light indicates an active WAN session. Steady light indicates a valid Ethernet connection. Blinking lights indicates an active Ethernet session. Reset to Factory Default
ADSL
Power cord
( Plug the power cord into the power outlet. )
Phone cable
( Plug the other end of the phone line cable into the phone jack. )
Ethernet cable
( Plug the other end of the Ethernet cable into the Ethernet port on the NIC.)
Step 2: The Network dialog box will open. Click on Internet Protocol ( TCP/IP ) to highlight it and then click on Properties.i diagram 2j
Step 3: The TCP/IP Properties dialog box will open, in IP address section, select Obtain an IP address automatically. i diagram 3j
Step 4: Click on Gateway, and in Gateway section, erase all previous settings. Step 5: click on DNS configuration, then select disable DNS. Step 6: click OK to close all networking dialog boxes. i diagram 4B 5j
Step 4: The local Area Connection Properties dialog box will open. Click on Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) to highlight it and then click on Properties.i diagram 7j
Step 5: In Properties dialog box, select Obtain an IP address automatically and Obtain DNS Server address automatically, then chick OK for all the subsequent dialog boxes to save the settings.i diagram 8j

Setup Router Automatically: Use the ISP default setting. (RECOMMENDED) Setup Router manually: Advance setting. (You have to setup all setting by yourself) View Current Settings: Show the current Router setting. Exit: Exit setting.
Step 2: Select your ISP. ( Some country does not need this selection )
Step 3: If your ISP provides you username and password, please fill in this dialog. Otherwise skip this step.
Step 4: Summary of router settings being done, please confirm the settings to your ISP.
Step 5: Please turn off and then turn on your PAE-CE81/84 again. This step will refresh the previous settings of your router. And you can close the set-up window.
Step 6 : Now the router set-up is complete, please wait 3 minutes for the routers to establish adsl connection with ISP, Then open your browser now to see if the ADSL connection has been established.
Step 2: a. If you are using 1483 Routed LLC, 1483 Routed VC-MUX and 1577 IpoA , you need to input the IP setting (Static IPB Subnet Mask and Gatway)
b. If you are using PPPoA LLC, PPPoA VC-MUX, PPPoE LLC and PPPoE VC-MUX, you need to input username and password. User name and password is advised to you by your ISP.
Step 3: Summary of the router settings being done, please check the settings to your ISP.
Step 4: Please turn off and then turn on your PAE-CE81/84 again. This step will refresh the previous settings of your router. And you can close the set-up window.
