1. Fill the 3 glasses or plastic cups half-full of
tap water.

2. Put a teaspoon of oil in a glass or plastic cup.
Stir and label it as "Mixture A."
3. Put a teaspoon of rice grain in another glass
or plastic cup. Stir and label it as "Mixture B."
4. Put a teaspoon of peppercorn in another glass
or plastic cup. Stir and label it as "Mixture C."
6. Leave the mixtures in about 1 minute.
7. Observe each mixture. Compare the mixture
